Title: What is your favorite finish on a deck of cards?
Post by: Evan on October 05, 2011, 03:44:04 PM: My favorite finish on a deck of cards is UV500 Air-Flow Finish. Unfortunately, it is not used anymore due to the rising cost of it. Whats your favorite?

Post by: Curt on October 05, 2011, 04:56:20 PM: As most people in the thread have stated, magic/performance finish is my favorite. One I handled an Artifice deck, the performance finish instantly became my favorite. That's why I am pleased with it being used on the Vortex.

I guess I'm just used to it. Before I collected many different decks, I used Bikes with air-cushion.

If your going to get any E decks, wait a little bit there going to have the magic/performance finish, i was lucky enough to get a shadow masters with the magic/performance finish and their extremely nice.

Also to not cause confusion among-st others i say "lucky enough to get a shadow masters with magic/performance finish" because you can't tell what deck your going to get until you open the box.

i normally can fan and spring card in a few tries. with my crown they would not.

Same reason any other deck is, like artifice, arcane, etc.

From what I have read, the performance finish is a very, very minor variance from the magic finish. Nothing that anyone would be able to feel the difference with. So no, the artifice does not have the magic finish, it has the performance but they are virtually identical.

I saw E posted at Facebook that Performance coating is used only by E, created for E deck.
So, is it really the same as magic finish?

(Note) When i say "holds up to alot" i mean the ink to stock ratio.

Honestly though I cannot really feel the difference between most uspcc cards. All there finish looks the same to me...
