Verve, much classier imo. I could see this deck being used in some high end event.

This is another one that I'm torn over.  I love the faces on the Verves, but while the first back was great, the second was OK and the third was generally not liked as much.  Monarchs got a terrible rep when they came out because of all the hype and the last-minute color-scheme switch, and they have recolored standard USPC faces.  But the Monarchs have a great AoS and twin jokers, along with a cool-looking back - and absolutely no one denies that the box is a thing of beauty.

I wanna say Verve, but I have to say Monarchs.

You have GOT to be kidding me... No contest - Monarchs.
They trump Verve easily. Monarchs have beautifully balanced handling and look absolutely amazing. Top 5 decks ever. Verve, Meh, it got tackier with each edition. That yellow... *shiver.

The Verve deck has a lovely simple yet elegant design that no one could pass up, The handling and the looks combined makes a great deck for a classy event.

I wish there was one of these contests where I owned both decks so I cans try to give a good comparison. But still.....

Monarchs get my vote! I love the whole design of the deck, from the tuck to the courts. I love how they feel in my hands, and the smell you get from a fresh deck!

Monarchs. Simple and sweet, awesome handling. Verve are too tacky in my opinion, and they are a fairly average deck in terms of handling.
