I think you need to review your pledge tiers again...you are offering the Classic Bicycle Deck instead of Jaguar.

Question: Are both of the Joker cards the same...both black?  Many card games require two different jokers, even if they are only slightly different (say make one of the jaguars have red or yellow eyes)

The Royal Bees are now in stock at the China USPC Agent...if anyone is interested in them, I will be selling them for 32.50 each (a little above cost to make sure I don't lose out on the exchange rate) plus shipping...limit 2 per person.  I will ship from the US at the end of July and for international, I will be shipping from China starting next week.  Send me a PM if you are interested :)

From David Blaine's instagram:

"Extremely rare and amazing. Thanks to Pash and Stutzman and ABC. Will be used to promote my new show soon!"

Don't think it will be publically available for sale :(

It appears that, technically speaking, they may have bent if not broken the rules for a Kickstarter project.  With all the photos and reviews and the phrasing used in a lot of the copy, it appears that the decks, at least the red and blue ones, have already been printed - a test run at the least, if not a full-blown production run.  You're not supposed to run a KS project for something that's already been made, so if was exists today was anything more than a test run or a handful of prototypes, shame on them.  Not that KS really cares, as long as they collect the fees when the project closes and no one bitches that they're being ripped off somehow, which they don't appear to be.

Don't know whether KS staff is not thorough or that they just don't care, but Hanson clearly states that a Mass Printing for Quality Check was done in November 2015 in his timeline at the bottom of his project page.  Maybe because it was a mass printing for quality check and not actual mass production for sale?

Either way, I ain't complaining (too much) and still backed for a brick (so I got my free deck), plus I added more black decks ::)  Needless to say, I really like this deck

It's hard to tell what the audience is for this deck.  It's too flashy for most magicians, but the overall mostly-standard design won't appeal to many collectors these days, except for the few remaining "gotta-get-em-all" Bicycle diehards.  It's really a deck that would have been a big hit in 2010 or 2011, but today?  I don't think so.  And yet, it made its goal...shows what I know, right?  But still, that goal looks VERY low - how short is the print run on this?  Or is CPC subsidizing the cost?

I heard that CPC has a special relationship with Bicycle (probably because they produce a ton of decks every year) and can do 1000 deck print runs...as for the artwork, like most of their other decks, it is just a custom back (none too attractive either, imho), a different background for the front of the card to go with the theme and maybe custom jokers...nothing too difficult to do in a short period of time on the computer.

CPC also has a pretty loyal following (those Bicycle diehards) and they are persistent with their projects, if it doesn't succeed, they re-tool and come back until they are successful.  Personally, I don't like many of their designs though sometimes they do something decent...all in all, it seems that their model works...more power to them! :bosswalk:

I'm a little irritated (maybe I'm just being entitled) that at over 400% of his goal his big gift to the backers is just a different colored card in the deck and a 20$ recolor you can add on

I feel the same way...Irritated, but maybe I am spoiled by the likes of Lorenzo and Giovanni :-\

The 'so-called' new extra card was in the first run of decks that he did for prototyping on the back of the guarantee card...wonder if it will be a double backer instead, one side red/one side blue for the red deck and one side blue/one side black for the blue deck?

Regardless, I'm still in for a few of the black deck add-ons ::)

From my understanding, this deck, as well as the Golden Bee, were produced by the USPC China Agent, which is part of the Jarden Group (apparently a sister company as per their website and a certificate by USPC, in Chinese), so I think that would still make this an 'in-house' deck.  Don't know why it doesn't have the guarantee joker, maybe because it is for the China market and they don't honor the guarantees here?

P.S.  This deck is a limited deck, though I am not sure how many in total were produced (I asked the China Agent but got no answer), I was told another shipment is due next month...only 90 have been released in China to date

Sounds very entising so far...any chance on seeing the cards? :D

Completely understand wanting to use the Printer Name, especially with USPCC, but why not then put the name of the deck in the ribbon on the front of the tuck...don't really like De Baron Studios as it doesn't fit the rest of the theme and is a little too much (imho)  :(

With that being said, I am definitely backing this project :D

I think the tuck box is looking really good so far :D, but a couple comments/suggestions ::):

(1) The style of the banner on the front (with De Baron Studio) looks a little out of place compared to the rest of the tuck...it looks cartoonish compared to the more realistic look of the rest of the tuck

(2)  Instead of putting the printing company brand, why don't you put the title of the deck 'Dwarfs/Dwarves' on the tuck in a similar style font?

Could you make the numbers and pips gold and silver and have them resemble the circuits sticking out of the board...maybe even give them a 3-D look?

It's a shame you didn't post something sooner.  It closed three days after your post and missed its goal.

It's OK Don, its a deck by CPC, good chances that the deck will be made anyways...lol

Really loving the circuitry designs so far, spot on! The binary designs aren't quite grabbing me though, too... Matrix-y? Maybe... I'm not sure...

I agree with Justin...I like the circuitry design, but not feeling the binary design...very interested to see how the courts look :)

Any chance we can add on orig Jetsetters?

I believe that Paul sold out of the original Jetsetter deck last month, so unfortunately, you will probably have to get it from a reseller

68
My sincere condolences, Judy...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Red Quality Deck v2
by The Quality Cards Co. in Taipei, Taiwan
(not sure of release date, but printed in 2015)

70
Awesome!  Will have to back for a few extra for daily play! ;D

To add the red, maybe have one being an upgraded ticket to differentiate the two?

71
Looks great Paul!  Very much looking forward to the launch! :D

Quick question, are the two Jokers the same or is there something differentiating them?  Just asking as many of the card games I play require two different color jokers.

72
I am sorry to hear that...wishing Tom a fast recovery...you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
