Does anyone know if D&D have used the courts that are found in the Magic Con V2 deck in any other decks?
If not exactly, then similar?

In theory, yes - they're just USPC standard courts blown up to a larger size and without border lines around the art.  They also excluded the large pip usually found next to the court's head, and I think that any courts that had the head on the left might have been flipped.

In practice, not exactly like that, but there's been similarly designed decks in that the courts are large and frameless.  But not D&D, however - the only deck of theirs that I haven't seen images of is Magic-Con v1, and based on reports I've received I know it wasn't the same as this was.

  • Ugh, I wish I had money for THAT deck!
When I saw these the only difference I noticed from the standard court faces was the lack if pips next to the face, the larger bodies, lack of border, and the coloring. None of the decks that I have are like that. I actually do like these courts a lot though! Maybe we will see more of them in the future.

Don't just sit there commenting on your colloquialisms...  :))  Why have you been debating rather than buying?

It's D & D which I love, but I'm not crazy about the back design

A lot of people balked about that when they came out with that deck - obvious one-way back.  It looks like the deck was made more for flourishing than for magic.  Still, the unique faces were popular.  And there's also the fanboys who would buy nuclear waste if it had the D&D logo on it!  :))

I don't use it often, which might be part of it.
