Darn i'm 12, so i'd have two wait 2 1/2 years haha. I'm on the computer any time im out of school thoughWhy do I have to be 14!??!!?!
I guess I'll wait a few months...
I use 15 as the cutoff so that school isn't as big of an issue. Freshman year of high school tends to be more hectic than following years, and it's just a simple cutoff.
But hey, in a few months, I'd love to go over your application.
I didn't even realize that I reached thatNp, and it's funny because I haven't been on the forums for awhile and last few days made me check in cause of the V2 thing and I always check the top poster ( You most of the time ) and got on today and noticed lol.
Thanks for letting me know! And thanks for the thread
I'm gonna be honest here: I wouldn't even subscribe to a forum that looks like this. In fact, a basic pre-made skin would be more attractive. Too much contrast where it's not needed and not enough where it actually is makes it really painful to look at, and the huge awesomeface might be going too far, no matter what kind of community it is aimed at.Wow I am always logged in so never noticed it I will have to take that off.
No offense intended really, but it'd be sad to have a good forum fail because of such basic things. Remember, a good choice of colors is always important, regardless of the target audience. You could consider going with a softer shade of blue, and never use black text on a dark color. High contrast should be reserved for text, unless the design really calls for it.
PhpBB is very skin friendly, there are a ton of pre-built free ones, I haven't used SMF in a long time, so I'm not familiar with the available options.I was looking for one that I could embed on, but proboards is great so I'm going to stick with them. Check my forum out if you would like http://whattheshiz.proboards.com the design isn't final and I still need to make topics and categorys and what not. Also my website is whattheshiz.yolasite.com
Are you looking for a forum to install on your website? or are you looking for a website that will host a forum for you?
No clue what yola or talkki are, but ProBoards is the best hosted forum solution for free, and SMF is my favorite free software (that's what the Discourse runs on).Ok, thanks for the help.
Do you guys have any suggestions on how you'd like the notifications to work? i.e., where they should pop up, whether they should pop up at all, or how they should be formatted. How do you like being notified or do you prefer going through the topics yourself? Just trying out something new.I think that if you had a button next to your name and all that to have a button that drops down a menu of your notifications and when you click it again the menu goes right back up. And when you get a new notification it will have the number of new ones you have at the top right of the button. Hope this helps
I'm gonna disable the feature altogether, but it'd be great to have some comments from our users before I do so we can improve on it.
Okay guys, the problem should be much less intrusive. If you do see the notifications spiral down your screen, they will go away automatically within a few seconds.Okay thanks Alex, and I have seen it go away within a few seconds so it's not as bothering.
Bear with us while the solution is found.
Ik not how they feel I was just putting that out there. I will do all of this stuff before my next review and I will try to use more words instead of the same phrase all the time. I have noticed this and my friend has also told me. I will also try to be more clear and louder.not about how they feel. I mean, more about cards in general... how they're made, whats on them, stocks, finishes. And you should expand your vocal a bitAlso, your reviews are very good but I think that before you do your next review, you should learn more about cardsOk, and I usually play with the cards for about 5 minutes before I do the review but as you see in most of the spreads you can tell they still need to be broken in more.

Ok, I'll try that for the next review.what do you mean by IMO? but great review and i agree with john
IMO=In my opinion.
That would be awesome - I've always wanted to see reviews, but I could never find any - When is the Discourse v2 supposed to be releasing anyway - In the new year? How about Christmas?I'm pretty sure that it will be released sometime in the new year, because it takes a lot of work to do.
I'm guessing it will be coming out with Discourse V2Haha ok I didn't see that's suggestion area sorry. And that is awesome. How soon do you think it will be up?i just had to add a comment here becuase i saw that the Development section was at 499 posts so this is #500!!
Nice! Unfortunately, this thread belongs in the Suggestions board.
A Deck Review section is something that is on its way.
