Hey guys,

I used to be a regular poster here but I've been inactive for a while. Unfortunately I'm going to be selling some beloved, mint condish decks due to moving house, plus I could do with the cash. I'll be shipping from Melbourne Australia (makes international shipping a bit hard, but I'm sure we can work something out). Email me at bma.stefano@gmail.com for questions about prices, the more you buy the more willing I'll be to give you a good deal!

Prices listed are negotiable depending on how many decks you'd like to buy :)

I would prefer to ship within Australia, but contact me for international shipping quotes if you'd like them!

Shipping to Australia - hard to estimate, but somewhere around $10, possibly more, possibly less (depending on where in Aus)

Shipping to USA - $14 for air mail (no tracking - your risk)
$20 for registed post air mail (tracking)

Decks:

T11 Monarchs (1) - $7

Bicycle League Backs - Blue - OHIO MADE (4) - $6

Aladdin 1001 Smooth Finish - Red (3) - Blue (3) - $5

RJTC Bee Watermelon Playing cards - OHIO - Red (3) - Blue (4) $9.5

D&D Arrco Tahoe no.84 Playing Cards (the ones with limited edition foil and seals) - Red (2) - Blue (1) - $11

D&D Smoke and Mirrors v6 (originals, not reprints) (1) - $16

Stud Playing Cards (Newer edition) - Red (1) - $6

Tally Ho BLACK Fan back (1) - $6

I may add more decks to the list later, depending how the sale goes.
I am also considering selling my SEALED Bee Wynns (Red Jumbo Index) - if you're interested in this, send me an offer, and if it's good enough I will be willing to sell that too.

I may also be selling some Ohio Arrcos (if the price is right), contact me to negotiate!

Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Ben

Playing Card Plethora / Bicycle League Back
« on: October 12, 2013, 08:15:16 AM »
Hey everyone, just a quick question about the bicycle league back decks, hoping the answer will be straightforward :P

I've been looking to get some Ohio Bike decks at a decent price for everyday use but I want to try something different from the Rider Backs.
I quite like the look of the League Backs, but I realise that they've been produced and reproduced a few times in both Erlanger and Ohio.

Now when I went searching for League Back decks, I came across fullboatdealer's sale, and he advertised them as Q1 quality (obviously what I'm looking for). But I'm wondering, will all League Back decks from Ohio be of that quality or are there some dodgy ones out there as well?

This is the sale I'm looking at, because I live in Australia so this Australian seller is ideal

If anyone knows about different League Back decks, just drop a comment :)
thanks!

Hey there everyone! For those that don't know me, my name's Ben and I live in Australia

HOWEVER I have a friend who's going to the US very soon who I have a bit of a deal with (he brings back decks of cards for me that I send to his address in the USA).

So I figured I might as well capitalise on this opportunity and post about some decks I'm looking for, in the (possibly vain) hope that someone has some they're willing to sell at a decent price.

If you have any of these and willing to sell, please don't hesitate to contact me and we can start negotiating :)
Contact by email or PM is fine (email: benjam.on.toast@gmail.com)

- OHIO Arrco US Regulations playing cards (red/blue) (looking for a fairly substantial quantity, up to a brick, but contact me if you've got anything)
- Bee Watermelon (RJRTC) playing cards (red/blue)
- OHIO Tally Ho Circle Back playing cards (red/blue) (preferably blue seal)
- OHIO Stud playing cards (red/blue)
- Bee Expert at the Card Table playing cards (green) (v1 or v2 is fine, doesn't matter)

I'm not looking to pay HEAPS for these decks, but if I you give me a good price you will DEFINITELY have a buyer!
So yeah, thanks for reading... Contact me if you like the sound of this :)

Playing Card Plethora / Arrco US Regulation JUMBO + KingMagic
« on: May 04, 2013, 09:03:51 AM »
Hey there everyone, I've got a bit of a conundrum...
Firstly, let me just say I love Arrco US Regulations... like seriously haha. Although they're hard to get your hands on, I noticed a lot of flourishers use Arrco US Regs with jumbo indexes, and so I thought they might be more readily available or something. So I did some research, and I've found them on this Chinese magic website called King-Magic.com. Here's the link:
http://www.king-magic.com/arrco-us-regulation-jumbo-index-blue-p-637.html

So I have a few questions that I really want answers to before I decide to buy these...

1. Does anyone know if they ever produced Jumbo Index Arrco US Regs in the Kentucky factory? Because I know from experience that what I really want are OHIO Arrcos, and I get the feeling that USPC never bothered printing Jumbo Index Arrcos when they did that reprinting run in the new plant... Essentially, can I be guaranteed that if I buy Jumbo Index Arrco US Regs, they'll be from Ohio?
From the looks of the pictures, the decks have blue seals, so that's a good sign, but I need to be sure!

2. Has anyone had any experience with buying from king-magic.com? As a whole, the site seems a tad bit dodgy, like for example I saw them selling fake Jerrys Nuggets and such... but can anyone verify that this site is legit and that I'm not going to be scammed with Chinese fakes or something?

I'm really hoping you guys can help me out and fuel my addiction for more Arrco US Regs... please hahaha
Thanks :)

Playing Card Plethora / Casino Decks - my recent obsession
« on: April 11, 2013, 08:25:45 AM »
Hey there everyone, just asking a question...
So recently I've gotten into some research on casino decks, cause I like the idea of playing round with them for some reason, it's kind of inexplicable... I guess, seeing as casino decks like Wynns and Nuggets are too expensive for me to be looking at for using purposes, they're more collectors' items now, I've looked into some other cool casino decks, but I thought I might ask here to find out where the best place to buy casino decks would be, and what decks I should look at...
Essentially, I'm being pretty picky, but here's what I'd like in a casino deck:
- Uncancelled / sealed
- NOT borderless.
On top of that, I really like tech art faces (especially the Jumbo ones seen on Brown Wynns)

So yeah, I'm looking for cards like these links down below, except with BORDERS... stinger backs are cool too, I'm just interested to see what you guys come up with...

Introduce Yourself / Just myself..
« on: March 10, 2013, 08:03:52 AM »
Hey everyone, just thought I might as well introduce myself on these forums since I'll probably be hanging round here for a while... I've come to like the sales, trades and iso forum, it's much better than ebay I reckon ;)
So anyway, my name's Ben, I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I've been into cards just about as long as I can remember... I started off playing with cards when I was really young, learnt some old self-working type tricks from some old magic books of my dad's, including a very very old book of Houdini's card tricks. It's pretty cool :P
I kind of stopped playing with cards after a while, though I was still really into poker and blackjack and things like that, I've always been a bit obsessed with casino stuff. But in the last 8 months or so I got back into card magic, but more recently, in the last few months, I've gotten much more into cardistry. I still enjoy tricks, but I find that cardistry is really where it's at right now for me. I guess my favourite current day magic and cardistry guys would be Dan and Dave, just because I like their style of little tricks and flourishes and things like that.
Other than that, I've always had a real respect for gambling sleights and gambling demonstrations, so I think some time I will try and learn those kinds of things, but right now I'm enjoying cardistry way too much.
As for card collecting, I'm really into some out of print decks that aren't TOO out of print. For example I like the style and feel of Arrco US Regs and things along those lines. I guess you could say my taste in playing cards is very classic and casino orientated :)
Thanks for reading!

Playing Card Plethora / Heat Damaged Cards
« on: March 10, 2013, 05:58:51 AM »
Hey everyone, I've just got a query for you all...
I live in Melbourne, Australia, and recently we've had about a week of really hot weather, up around the high 30s and low 40s (Celsius, sorry to you US guys who don't understand that)... the desk of my drawer where I keep my cards was up in my room, one of the hotter rooms in the house, and after about 4 or 5 days when I realised the hot weather wasn't going away, I moved the whole drawer downstairs to a shady, cool spot.
HOWEVER, since then, most of my cards have been fine, but a few decks here and there have suffered some heat damage. I don't know if any of you have experienced this, but when I take them out of the box, they feel "crispy" on the edges, and I kind of have to riffle them and dribble them before they feel normal again. And even then, they're fanning and spreading has gotten significantly worse (especially on a deck of Arrco US Regs that I have, and these cards usually hold up forever in terms of fanning etc.)
Now I know never to leave my cards like that again in the heat, but I'm wondering, is there any way I can make this particular deck feel any better? Probably not, but it's worth asking anyway.
Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I'm wondering if I could get an opinion from someone who knows something about casino decks on these cards:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ohio-Made-Bee-Tech-Art-Stinger-Blue-New-Phoenix-Casino-Playing-Card-Decks-/200730560700?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ebc7948bc&_uhb=1#ht_775wt_1348

I'm just wondering, I've been doing some research on Bee Casino decks cause I really love the Wynn Tech Art decks (though sadly I don't any :( )...
Does anyone know what these cards in particular are like? I quite like the stinger back design and I love how the box is just like the Wynn playing cards (with the see through window at the back). I'd definitely buy some for the design but I'd like to know about the handling and stuff first. They ARE Ohio made, which is a good sign, but has anyone heard anything about / had experience with these cards before?
Thanks in advance :)

A Cellar of Fine Vintages / Different version of Jerry's Nuggets?
« on: February 09, 2013, 04:49:28 AM »
Hey guys,
I was just browsing on ebay and I happened to come across these:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ITEM-0003-JERRYS-NUGGET-CASINO-PLAYING-CARDS-2-DECK-SET-/261166942039?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ccec34757&_uhb=1#ht_500wt_1130

So does anyone know what the deal with these is? Of course I know they not highly prized like the Jerry's Nuggets that everyone knows, but I'm just wondering what the history with these cards is... they seem interesting enough haha though not usable obviously, because of the clipped corners.
Still, can anyone enlighten me as to what these cards are all about?
