Haha, not very well. Maybe enough to save me if I was stuck in a spanish speaking country, but no where near enough that I would say I could speak it. :p I only had two years of the course and I am not afraid to say that I did not pay much attention in those classes.

That's some very cool stuff, there Curt. I've seen the zero-gravity pass before; never been able to do it. Never seen that card catching routine before. I'm guessing there's something tricky going on there because the card you catch seems to fly a bit lower than the others... guessing there's a pinky break involved but I dunno how you're doing it.

I've got one I posted the Facebook. I'm very new to this, just so you know.

Ya, the muscle pass is quite the interesting looking coin/poker chip move. And the card catching is called ShiNAG, it was created by Shin Lim and is available on the Theory 11's "The Wire". There is no pinky break, but there is a move to help differentiate one card from the others.

I wouldn't mind learning shiNAG, I've watched the trailer over and over and over, and it is awesome! It's smart how he can reach into a spring and pull out the chosen card

Haha, Yes, that magic box one looks quite tricky. I think you managed to pull it of quite well. How many years of practise?

I think my hardest slight/trick I did in my video was the colour change from the ace of diamonds to the eight of hearts ( sort of in the middle of the video ). That move is extremely annoying to learn, it took roughly 4 months of decent practise to get it to look ok.

Curt, let me tell you! The Magic Box is no joke. It is an original effect that took me about 3 years to come up with and polish it up to a performance level. I finish my routine with this effect every time I perform and it never fails to leave people puzzled. I even have people show up to multiple performances just so they can see it and try to figure it out.

Worry not all my fans, once I get my site up and running, I may sell this effect. Keep your eyes peeled.

The main palm in the effect is really quite simple but I really like how it looks. The angles are not too bad but are best when looked at straight on.

I wish I could spring that well. Then again, I couldn't to the bridge that follows a riffle shuffle until a few months ago - and I'm in my forties! I can weave and faro now, but cardistry still eludes me.
