  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

I also believe that learning from someone with EXPERIENCE card cheating is invaluable if you are actually planning on using your knowledge for what it was intended; cheating.

Better to use it for magic demos.  You don't have to be a master cheat to spot a master cheat, and situations like that tend to go sideways and pear-shaped in a hurry...

this is very true if you are playing with people that actually know about cards. if you are playing with friends and friends of friends... it is much easier. it especially fun dealing out stupid good hands to other people so everyone else thinks that person is cheating.
have you heard the word???

The best part is when everyone has killer hands but yours is the apocalypse hand!  Gotta get those chips flying, right?  Do that one time in an otherwise straight friendly, neighborhood game and people will talk about it for days but are unlikely to suspect cheating,  To sell it, though, it really has to be an otherwise unremarkable night, even to the point of you losing some prior hands intentionally but not obviously, and not applying a single gambling sleight in the process.  For many mechanics, though, that would require more restraint than they'd be capable of mustering.  It's the difference between carefully applying oil paints to a canvas and slapping whitewash on a fence.

A few false cuts and a stacked deck and my friend ended up with a royal flush in hold em; they just freaked out and we all had a great time. But the best part about doing it with your friends is that even if you're learning, you can practise the moves every now and then (without the intention of dealing anyone a good/bad card) and not get caught. It's great for understanding laymen and doing the moves in heat. They never really pick up on anything...

Alex Stone says when he was learning to practice card cheating - he'd cheat at his local poker game, but he wouldn't cheat to his favor. In other words, he'd deal seconds to everyone and deal to himself off the top, but without knowing what cards he was getting. He'd only practice the sleight not the deception.

Revelations 28: New Madison Close-Up Pad

Looks like Madison & Ellusionist have more to come.

Rumored third deck 1. Rounders 2. Dealers 3. ?

https://mobile.twitter.com/DANIELmadison/status/356493237533413376

I don't believe Madison was eluding to Scarlet Rounders.

Interesting observation.

Daniel Madison at his question & answer session Thursday, July 25th, confirmed a Gaff Deck in the works. Daniel will be in the U.S. in a few weeks with Peter Mckinnon working on the project. Daniel was specifically asked about "MAGIC live" in Vegas when he first spilled the shenanigans. Daniel says he is NOT attending but would be in Vegas after working on the Gaff Deck project.

Daniel also confirmed his close-up pad seen on Revelations 28 would be available at some point. Supposedly, someone spotted a Laura London close-up pad, which Daniel explained was just a gift. With the increasing exposure of Laura in Ellusionist videos, does this insinuate that Laura is now under contract with Ellusionist and the possibility new releases for her will be in the near future?

Who got a signed deck? Someone from Instagram said that he has another seal (normal one?!) and he was angry (birds :P )

One of the two signed decks was arrived yesterday. Me happy :)

He most likely got two of the same custom seal on all the decks.  It just makes more sense.  Some collectors, for reasons unknown, seek out manufacturer errors like that - something to do with rarity, like a misprinted postage stamp, mis-struck coin, etc.  I never saw the appeal of it.
