Hello ,
I am Rajas Paranjpe , 22 year old , one of the youngest playing card manufacturers for the Pro playing cards players & magicians fraternity.
Many of you must have used and appreciated our first release Archduke Cards- Eagle Back ,launched an year back in USA.
Thanks a lot for that, because of you it was a massive hit.
I am frequent at kickstarter.com and the Vortex Playing Cards funding initiative brought me here.
My goal is to realize the dreams of many who want to print there own custom playing cards at extremely reasonable cost without compromising on quality.
Will be posting amazing deals exclusive to the members of this community in coming days.
To keep you excited, we are DELIVERING custom playing cards of highest paper quality and finish at rate of less than $1/deck

I loved the Archdukes - fantastic decks. Welcome to the boards, it's fantastic to see you here Rajas. Keep us updated on your projects and browse around - there is a lot to learn from these folks. We're playing card aficionados like none other.

Sorry as of now we dont have a website. But its in the process, mostly it will come in March.
We have no priority in heavy marketing done by similar companies.
By doing that we can pass a lot savings to customers by delivering them their own custom decks at affordable price.
I am thinking of creating listings on ebay.com for creating custom decks so that many can take advantage of ebay's insurance and easy transactions.

I've never heard of the Archduke... they were probably released before I started collecting.

I'm a fan of the Archduke Eaglebacks - the feel of the cards is like nothing that comes out of the USPC's print shops. Welcome aboard and I look forward to hearing more news about more releases.

Kickstarter can be an excellent place to get a playing card deck funded - it generates a lot of exposure. Encarded's Tendril deck was popular enough to get featured positions on the Kickstarter pages. It helped push sales through the roof for Paul Carpenter - you'll know him here as Xmetal. I'd say the majority of people here learned about this forum through the Kickstarter; I know I did.

Welcome sir! To be honest with you, I haven't had the chance to experience the Archdukes yet but from what I've been hearing, I would definitely get me one of those once I have the chance. If the feel of it is as good as I've been hearing then I'm looking forward to working with you!

Alternately, you could get an American company to partner with you and be your distributor in the US. Doesn't have to be a big company. Maybe a company like AetherCards, Encarded, Circle City Card Co., Lance T. Miller/Multimiller Productions - all of them have created successful decks using Kickstarter. And now you can add Cosmo Solano to the list - his new Bicycle Spectrum deck reached its goal in about four hours!

Even some of the larger cards and magic retailers might want to be your US partner, like BMPokerWorld, AceKing, The Blue Crown, Tannen's, Penguin Magic, etc.

Hell, I wouldn't mind being your US representative to get you a Kickstarter project!

Yes I am indeed feeling the difference, I am member of most of the popular forums but I havent seen so many passionate people under one roof like here.
I am browsing few old/new topics and I can see how users are contributing, sharing, criticizing fairly and helping each other developing products.

I'll have to pick up some eaglebacks and test them out. I am working on a design right now but I am not rushing it and really taking my time. Maybe when I finish it (one day) I'll talk to you about getting it a printed. Hopefully there will be more decks from your company so that we are can really get a good feel for different styles of decks you produce!
