Did you make the link invalid on purpose? It took me a good 30 seconds to get to it... :P
Oh and nice moves. And pretty clever title. ::)

Nice video - the black and white was a good touch.  A few moves looked a little tentative, but overall it was a good display of skill.

It appears there's a band or an album or something with the same title as your video, "Blackened White".  There were a zillion links to their stuff after your clip ended...  :))

Personally, I've never used Massa decks, but I have used Tally Ho, and I have heard that Massa starts off great but wears out quickly.  Tally Ho doesn't have that problem - compared to most decks, they're practically bulletproof.

I have heard the same thing as Good@Sabacc (Don Boyer) has about Tally-hos and Massas. In my opinion, the older tally-hos (circle backs) are better quality, stock, and finish, and last longer in general. My personal experience was the my circle backs never clumped up, while my fan backs clumped up soon, right after I got them.

Modern Tally Ho decks are no longer made with Tally Ho card stock.  At some point in Jarden's tenure running USPC, the stock was removed from the inventory.  If forced to guess, I'd say it was after the original Propaganda deck, which was advertised as having Tally Ho stock.

Having said all that, modern Tally Ho decks use a modified version of Aristocrat stock.  The Aristocrat reprints are noticeably softer than old AND new Tally Ho cards.  By tweaking the moisture content, storage temperature and other factors, the stock can actually be tweaked to create variations.  And Aristocrat stock is nothing to dismiss - it's generally considered casino grade.

I personally think the current-issue Tally Ho decks are actually very good cards, among my favorites.  Decks made from 2011 forward are particularly better than those issued 2009 and 2010 - the infamous "shakedown" period of the new Erlanger facility.  I couldn't compare them to older Tally Ho decks because I don't own any.

im pretty rough on my masas. i bought a brick of them a few months back and ive gone through four of them already. because i bought them so cheap i carry them around for times where i have nothing to do and i feel like playing around with them so i dont wash my hands before each use.

with the masas it seems like if your hands start to sweat the ink will bleed through on the corners because there is SO much black ink on the backs. however if you are working on cuts and not so much fans this isn't a bad thing because they will stick together great for ya lol.

Loving your vids btw!! everytime i watch one i always get a deck and start to practice! im working through the jackson five right now. leno is tough!
have you heard the word???

Chalk another one up for the all-time favorite Tallys!  :D

Awesome vid man. Never really found the time to shoot myself flourishing but hopefully soon I will. Keep it up!
I prefer hand written signatures over digital ones but the ink appears to be stuck on my monitor screen...
