But you said is was so expensive to make, why would they be sold for so little?

I don't really mind this release. I mean, I was hoping it would be just one deck and I could get two or three of them for a few bucks so I was pretty surprised by this. I ordered the entire original series a few days ago, but I'm never going to use them, so this is a nice way to enjoy them (sort of) without opening the originals and also getting the last of the series. The price is a little high but I can save up since they'll be in stock a while.

If it's not a USPC deck, who would make it?

I don't think it looks to bad, but from everything I've read on here combined with my own experience over the last couple days, this time of year is not the best time to start asking people for money.

Thanks Don. These are the type of things I was referring to in my introduction thread. I really appreciate the response.

So there had to have been other decks made like this right? Aren't Jerrys just from one specific casino?

Can someone else shine some light on this topic? I too have seen these reprints on eBay and have heard of the fakes and whatnot. And why was the production process banned? I apologize for all of the questions but ever since I got into collecting everyone I know holds these decks on a pedestal and I'm not exactly sure as to why. I mean, sure they might be of good quality, but aren't hundreds of other decks?

I considered it, depending on what the rare items were, but now that I see them there's no way in heel I'd buy this.

They're going to make those collector boxes unlimited?
If there unlimited, than what's the point in calling them a "collector" box?

My point exactly.

So it's okay to revive old threads with a question? Because I know some forums are really against that.

Also, is there a way to see new posts since my last visit? Or do we have to go to each sub forum to see what's new?

I don't really mind the color variations. I think they're nice if I already like all-around design of the deck. The companies also do a good job balancing just releasing variations of decks they already have and bringing out something totally new.

I can't wait to get these. I really like the other Artifice decks and I'm sure these will be just as fantastic. Where did you get this picture?

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Luxury Deck by The Blue Crown

Sanguine? Azure? Curator?

Much better than this. I loved all of them, by the way.

Anyways, I'm absolutely livid about this promotion. I was looking forward to owning a rare piece, but this is simply ridiculous. The Blue Crown is just asking for the most money they can from collectors, despite the fact that all of the merchandise that is spent in order to get the luxury deck will end up being resold. They lost my respect and business.

I don't particularly like this deck either. The Bicycle logo and the vines on the backs of the cards give a..."grotesque" look. And I'm not a big fan of the black faces either.

Also, you said these guys have used non-standard suits before? Why in the world would you do that?

Hey guys, I've been reading the forum for a while and just decided to join so I can take part In the discussion. I've been interested in magic for the past few years and collecting cards for just about as long. I've got a modest collection, nothing compared to most of yours. I'm more interested in the history of cards; where they came from and whatnot. So I look forward to learning and sharing in the future  :)
