Deck Awards?

I did a variation of searches and came up with nothing. I was wondering if the site ever did a Deck Awards for the past year?

Favorite Deck, design, KS, etc.. Could be fun

I know UC did something similar in the past, but I'm not sure about this forum. Maybe we could get the ball rolling with the idea. There have been plenty of releases in 2013, certainly enough to make it an interesting topic.

Yes we did have a nice 2012 award thread last year. Was actually pretty cool. De'Vo even donated free decks to those who had voted for his deck in the best fanning category.  Yeah let's get one going

Yup, run with it Sparkz!   PM me if you need some help.  Still some good releases hitting mailboxes the next couple weeks.  You should wait a little bit, maybe just before Christmas.

I don't mind setting it up and would love the help kd, I'll shoot you a PM.

Any powers that be object, have suggestions, restrictions, anything we should be aware of before we move with this, please let me know.

We shoudl run it in January in my opinion just to get in all of the 2013 stuff plus it's a cool thing to do in a usual boring release month (January)

Yep, was thinking the same thing, just want to get an ok from Alex, Don and whoever before proceeding. It will take a little to get it planned and what not so January would be good, and as you mentioned that gets all 2013 releases in the running.

Hey John, I play well with others, lol. We can work together on this, we may need a few people if I can get my "Plan" rolling. I have a specific idea for this, I've done it in the past with a Gaming Fan site I used to help run and it worked well and we had a ton of fun with it. But I'm not even going to attempt it until I get the ok from the powers that be because it's gonna take some work.

Well it's basically a giant annual deck battle and the MOD for the deck battles thread just gave the go ahead, so I think it's a go.  Let me know if you guys need anything.  I'm happy to help.

By all means, gang - go for it.  John can run it as before.  Sparkz - and anyone else who can assist - we need a COMPLETE-AS-POSSIBLE list of the 2013 Releases.  I had trouble maintaining the list and it's seen no updates for too long.

And should one of you desire to do so, perhaps you can help with maintaining the list going into the New Year.

Keep it positive, having the worst seems unprofessional IMO. We already run people through the ringer anyways no reason to publicly give them an award for it.
