It seems like D&D and T11 are copying each others' methods of hype. 5 releases. Let me guess:
1) Ace Fulton's Casino Deck
2) The new close-up pad
3) and 4) 2 new DVD releases
5) The Heritage Series or another standard USPCC deck.

They already released a new closeup pad a few days ago and I really don't think they'd release a Heritage Series a week after T11 did...

They have a tendency to release standard USPCC decks, and also T11 decks, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them also resell for USPC and count them as 4 of their releases.

Taking a shot in the dark here, but my guess is one of the releases will be a new porper clip. They already showed the picture and last Friday they released that video about him. I don't think one of the releases will be a uspcc deck that's already released or a theory 11 deck like you guys are suggesting. I only say this because when they release decks like that they usually don't have a countdown or make a big deal about it. They usually just let you know in an email or something, kind of like the arrcos last week.

Here is my guess:

V7
Ace Fultons
Porper clip
a trick
a corkscrew or something
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

It is possible that the v7's will be released this week. Brad Fulton keeps mentioning Seven on the twitter feed, if you havnt noticed.
The new fultons deck will almost certainly come out.

The other three releases I do not really know what to expect. Maybe a card clip and some effects. Either way I am excited.

I didn't see anything in that link about the new Fultons being released. I also don't believe they will be releasing V7s this week, not enough hype for them and they would have made it well known they were releasing them, no?

If you're talking about the link to the countdown then yes, there wasn't mention of the Fulton's deck being released... in fact, there wasn't mention of anything specific being released. All we know for sure if that 5 things are being released.

Brad Fulton has been tweeting very often about how excited he is and all about something on friday and there has been a lot of talk about the new Fulton's deck.

4&5)New Tricks

You're good with your comparatives and superlatives...
The Dan and Dave forum might be back up, that could be one of the releases.

[sarcasm]Oh, be still my beating heart...[/sarcasm]

I'll take another crack at it.

1) Dan and Dave's silicone-based intimate lubricant - what goes on at Ace Fulton's, stays at Ace Fulton's...
2) Dan and Dave sportsjacket with accents of vintage leather from mule saddles - costs $2,499.99 and worth EVERY penny...
3) Fulton's Cricket Pitch - "I remember when my great-great-grandpapa from England used to play with the Notlob Knobblers...they made it to regionals that year...what year was is again...oh yes, 1850..."  The deck has no indices, square corners and is made on taupe-colored construction paper.  God save the King!
4) Smoke and Moresmoke, version whothehellcaresIhavetobuyitiamaslavetothetwinspleasetakemymoney...  It's a limited edition of 7,000,000,000, but only three will be available for the first sale.  We'll find the rest in the back of the warehouse a few hundred at a time and make people beg us for them...
5) Dan and Dave trimmer/clipper - perfect for eyebrows, nose hair, ear hair, hair down there; hey, the audience notices these things...  Guaranteed to make your flourishes 75% slicker-looking...

Maybe the [/sarcasm] tag should have gone somewhere after this sentence...

Fulton has made many references to 7 in the last few weeks. It's almost annoying, so if the V7 isn't a release I'd be really surprised. I'd think that those and the Fulton Casinohave to be out soon with all the mentions and allusions to them recently.

Haha don, you're perfect. Maybe the fulton's will have a 'beer'-proof stock, or an integrated slot in the card box. Maybe in the future, they'll be selling one card at a time, and produce 1 box, ultra colletible... :)

Don! You should pay attention to Dan and Daves new releases, because even if they say they don't read the forums, they might be lying and come on here to steal your innovative ideas. Haha I mean you had some pretty good ones... Lubricant?? I can see it now : "A brad Fulton exclusive... A personal lube so magical you'll be in and out before your spectator knows what happened, all  the while giving them the illusion of satisfaction"  haha you're products are right up their ally, so if I were you I'd keep keep an eye out And maybe you can cash in when they release their sports jacket!

One of the releases may be Vortex by Anthony Chanut considering they released a teaser for it on their FB page.

Well I was looking at Dan & Dave's Twitter and noticed two interesting things in the last couple of days:

“@SterlingFulton: In the darkroom half the day. Meeting @bucktwins at SEVEN.” --- Yes, it's true.

The deck we've always wanted. Available this Friday at 8pm PST. Follow us on #Instagram for teases throughout the week.

Sounds almost like hints at a possible V7 release. They also have a V6 and the supposed V7 on their Facebook page now!  :D

Lol, Hahaha *wipes hypothetical tears*. What is with you and Dan and Dave?

Long story.  Short version is that they started removing some of my FB comments on their release of MCv2.  I was pissed off about having the cards literally taken from my shopping cart in mid-purchase.  If someone did that to me in a supermarket, let's just say it wouldn't be pretty...

Haha don, you're perfect. Maybe the fulton's will have a 'beer'-proof stock, or an integrated slot in the card box. Maybe in the future, they'll be selling one card at a time, and produce 1 box, ultra colletible... :)

If people will buy it, they will sell it.

Coming soon: Smoke and Mirrors undergarments - makes your private parts 100% more attractive-looking when worn!  (Not responsible for date disillusionment and inability to get second date.  Do not use with dorky clothing.  Consult with your doctor if you start feeling dizzy or have uncontrollable itching.  Not for use while handling playing cards or other magic-oriented apparatus - see above re: dorky clothing.)

Don! You should pay attention to Dan and Daves new releases, because even if they say they don't read the forums, they might be lying and come on here to steal your innovative ideas. "Right up their ally"?  Makes me glad I'm not one of their allies!  Oh, wait - you meant "alley"...  That was sounding very uncomfortable for a bit...  :))

I agree with vmagic and J&T. I think they are taking advantage of Fulton to create some hype without us being able to accuse them of creating loads of hype.

This will be my updated guess which I think is fairly accurate.

1. Vortex cardistry DVD
2. New card clip
3. New T-Shirt
4. Ace Fulton's Casino Deck
5. Smoke and mirrors v7
This is what I'm also guessing. And maybe instead of the shirt there will be another DVD/download.

Again, I don't see why they would release 2 new decks. I think they will only release the fulton's. My uneducated guess is that they will be released around August. For the last release, I do see like an uncut of the fulton's.

There will almost certainly be a shirt, remember the contest on instagram to win an unreleased shirt? Now I'm starting to doubt S&M, come to think of it, hype has been minimal. Remember last year with the v6's? Plus they'd almost certainly release an uncut sheet to go with. You know in the end of the day let's all be surprised! We don't know for certain what will come out... Btw we are all generating hype lol.

Well, if they're buying the drinks, maybe I'll be there!  I'll be very disappointed if I don't get my beverages!

Below is a picture linked in the quote. Aside than the drink, I am curious about the card-themed matches and the card. I wonder what they can be.

No matter what is being released, I just hope that they don't pull a theory11 and release four items counting as one.

Watch them release a book of matches... With a Dan and Dave logo on it... "Hey guys, look at this, we've got a revolutionary matchbook! Lights up in a half a second. Produces a flame 5% bigger than normally. Woah!"

The matchbook is a generic design that was popular with bars, poker clubs and casinos in the 1970s.  D&D can't take credit for that one!

They conveniently added single Ace Casino decks after I ordered the brick thinking that was all they were releasing! So that makes 4 items so far.

I checked out, check my account statement and show total order was 0.00 and "pending items" status,  but they have deducted my store credit.

Don't worry. It's normal that it showed up as zero cause you paid by store credit.

Wow... is that what the hype is for?  I will have to pass on my first D&D decks in quite some time... Mediocrity is running rampant in the collectible playing card world... What was once special is so watered down where there are 20+ new decks per month to consider...

As for the cards themselves... plain, ordinary, and blah... Is placing them on top of the Jerry's Nuggets somehow supposed to induce collectors into a trance to purchase them?  I am also curious as to whether or not the triumvirate is really starting to believe their own $#!T... The Midnight deck - Ace Fulton's luckiest deck??? Is Brad Fulton dressed up like a silly looking cowboy representing some fictional character supposed to get me interested in picking this deck up as well... Sorry, didn't work on me... Give me a sick looking deck and I'll buy it... This one I'm not buying any of... not the deck, not the gimmicks, not the foolishness... Hope they score better next time...

I didn't get one, either - BREACH OF CONTRACT!  CLASS-ACTION!!  Where's my lawyer's number?!?  :))

A few people on the UC seem to think these cards are fugly, does anyone else agree? Personally I think they look fine.

The faces aren't so bad - I like the small pips.  I'm done with the "faded/aged look" - they did that on the Vintage Plaids already!  The non-spade Aces look ridiculous - they ALL have a spade motif.  And those backs?  Holy crap.  Those colors are very 1970s, to be sure, but they were butt-ugly even back then!  Only the, ahem, finest polyester leisure suits came in those colors!!  :))  It makes my decision not to buy so very easy to live with.

People are already hyping these cards as "the new Jerry's Nugget".  That's like me hyping a briquette of charcoal as "the new diamond".  The only thing they have in common is a horrible choice of colors.  The Ace Fulton's aren't even a real casino deck!

This deck is "sick", in the sense that those backs make me nauseous when I see them...  It's pretty plain to me that the Bucks (and possibly Brad) didn't really grow up in the early seventies and didn't have to look at those funky colors that are practically the decade's signature.

I actually like the color of these. However, I'm disappointed by the fact that they print two vintage-style decks in a row. Also, I dislike the look of the aces. But I like the nice pips and the box. I might get some, but their "Mignight Fuel" decks is all just BS.

I picked up one orange one, just because it's an unusual color and I don't have any vintagey looking decks. I'd agree that prehyping your own stuff as a classic is a little lame. Oh well, their marketing does work for many. Still, and i say this everytime, I'd love to see the big guys doing more custom work. They hold so much power and use so little of it to drive things to new areas. Eventually their complacency will backfire, it's just a matter of how long it will take...

If that is so, who signed the Midnight deck when it stated, "Midnight Fuel deck wrapped in foil, sealed with a numbered tax stamp and signed by Ace Fulton himself," in the description itself?

Funny I don't recall seeing anyone hyping these as the new Jerry's Nugget, we all know it ain't.

Well, you've got to admit that they do like very much similar. (Below, you'll find a picture of the two decks side by side. Compliments of D&D)

Truly, I missed all the "hype" on the new decks from Dan and Dave. I just don't visit the areas where the hype was spread, I guess. Over at UC there was some people discussing some pics that had been released, that's about all I knew and I didn't even pay much attention to that. It just seemed like a low-key release from my end, and heck their computers didn't even go down so I would say it worked out OK.

I thought there was a blog post mentioning that Ace was Brad's granduncle?

You mean the blogpost with the Photoshopped image of a non-existent "Ace Fulton's Casino" sign in the middle of the desert, aged to make it look about 40 years old?  And the bogus story about the casino and it's "founder"?

Holy crap, people, can't you recognize an ad campaign when you see one?

Do NOT take EVERYTHING you read on the Internet (or on the radio, or on television, or in print) as FACTUAL and/or TRUE...

I actually like the color of these. However, I'm disappointed by the fact that they print two vintage-style decks in a row. Also, I dislike the look of the aces. But I like the nice pips and the box. I might get some, but their "Mignight Fuel" decks is all just BS.

"Two vintage style decks in a row?"  Funny, I don't recall the Fulton's Chinatown deck, the most recent one before this, as being "vintage" anything...

Nate, the whole campaign is 100% unadulterated BS, finely ground and vacuum-sealed for freshness...

You'd be surprised at just how long consumers will accept complacency.  If they didn't, we wouldn't have umpteen-hundred-thousand McDonald's restaurants in practically every nation on Earth...and nearly all of them next to either a WalMart or a 7-11...

OK, we're talking about a narrow niche of customers when we're talking about Dan and Dave, but still - would any of us be "looking forward" to a SEVENTH Smoke and Mirrors deck if we weren't complacent as a group?  It's like looking forward to the one color left in the spectrum that USPC hasn't made a Rider Back deck in...

People are already hyping these cards as "the new Jerry's Nugget".  That's like me hyping a briquette of charcoal as "the new diamond".  The only thing they have in common is a horrible choice of colors.  The Ace Fulton's aren't even a real casino deck!

Funny I don't recall seeing anyone hyping these as the new Jerry's Nugget, we all know it ain't.

I spotted it in a comment some over-excited fan put on the D&D Twitter feed.

As far as ol' Uncle Ace is concerned, see what I wrote above about ad campaigns and believing everything you read on the Internet...

As far as the AFC decks resembling the Jerry's Nuggets, the resemblance is only in that they're both decks of cards with vaguely phallic symbols on the front of the box and the backs of the cards.  At least the Jerry's Nugget decks have a somewhat less horrible color scheme...

Truly, I missed all the "hype" on the new decks from Dan and Dave. I just don't visit the areas where the hype was spread, I guess. Over at UC there was some people discussing some pics that had been released, that's about all I knew and I didn't even pay much attention to that. Yeah, that's cute - we now measure successful releases by whether or not the company servers went down...  :))

Del, count yourself fortunate you missed the hype.  You really missed nothing that wasn't worth missing.

Well, I don't really understand what you all are complaining about. I'm certainly not a DandD fan, but I do like these 'ugly' vintage looking colours. If I have some money, I'll get me some of these. I just hope they handle well...

If there's one thing that D&D get right most of the time, it's the handling.

If you like these colors, enjoy them and more power to you.  Everyone's got an opinion, and that one's yours.

What's that? The Ace Fulton's deck IS the one that has the 7 on the flap?

Anyway, I absolutely LOVE the look of the Ace Fulton's deck and I ordered a couple of each color but I really regret not getting the Dealers Dozen...

They were trying to make people think it would be a V7 by posting that 7 and all the references to 7 on twitter.
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

What's that? The Ace Fulton's deck IS the one that has the 7 on the flap?

Anyway, I absolutely LOVE the look of the Ace Fulton's deck and I ordered a couple of each color but I really regret not getting the Dealers Dozen...

I think they were leading some to believe that v7 was coming out in order to draw more people to the deck's premiere.  Between the Fulton's line and Smoke & Mirrors, I think we know which is the better seller...
