I use these Little shadow boxes. No fabrication necessary. I just rotate the cards I display. Right now I'm feeling Black and White. :)

The box is something i made with a premade box, paint, and ad/gaff cards w/ mod podge.

And I measured, At full capacity, the box can hold 996 decks.

So in other words, when you move, that box requires three movers or one Ah-nold?  :))

I just moved into a new apartment, bringing my entire collection (including donated decks that I give away at the hospital) of over 2,000 decks.  The largest of the boxes I transported contained 125 decks, and they were HEAVY.  Your box equals EIGHT of those large boxes!!!

How do you effectively access decks in there?  My largest boxes are flat and hold the cards side by side - no deck hiding under another deck anywhere, so any of the 125 decks can be just plucked out.  However, I don't have the space to lay those boxes out - I stack them, and the stuff on the bottom tends to stay on the bottom!

1. I didnt think of the weight. You're right it's crazy heavy.

2. I don't EFFECTIVELY access the decks. It's that simple. Lol
Since my collection is still rather small, I am able to separate the practical decks from the ones I just want to save and look at. If you look at the pic you'll see what I mean.

But I like having to remove decks to get to others. It MAKES me rediscover and appreciate all of em. Feel me?

Welcome, Austin.  We get a lot of people who check out UC and stop by here eventually.  You're in good company.

Country slang and phrases are welcome!  Don't forget the euphemisms, too, and lots of analogies!

Thanks Don.

Actually I'm FROM Austin. Texas, that is. Lol

My name is Burk. Or Spencer, to my friends. :)

But I got plenty of all those things you mentioned to go around. Trust me. Lol

I'm almost ashame that one month ago, i posted a pic with my last aqusition..... ??? and now, if I'm looking at your "half" collections, i ask myself if i should stop collecting playincards (.... no..... i'm not giving up).
PS: My No.17 are on the way!
Consider it something to aspire to!  :))
Or as a cautionary tale, depending on your wallet and spouse approval factor.   ;)  Just focus on collecting what you really like, set boundaries and follow them, the rest will happen and you'll get to where you want to be over time.

I definitely regret a few of my purchases, I own a few things that I spent a little more on than I should have, or never really wanted in the first place, but it has helped put into perspective what to buy and what to pass. Although I have a very long ISO list I will get around to some day.

And The No. 17s are great!! They will be an awesome addition to your collection!!

I can relate to this. Hardcore.

But now I like to think I do what EcNate does, limit myself by placing higher standards for purchasing.

Lol get 'em Don.

Serious question,

How capable is MPC to produce the watermark style artwork in the background like USPC does?

I personally love seeing it in cards but most of the cards that have it have been a white shade for the face. I agree with some of the earlier posts, It would look muggy i think.

I wonder if USPCC or EPCC could do black face watermarking... that'd be cool to see.

Project was cancelled with all the content wiped from the Kickstarter campaign. What happened?

On the UC forum he mentioned something along the lines of USPCC contacting the project and wanting to shut it down. I dont know the details but it would explain why it got removed.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Alloy Playing Cards Live on KS !!

Ok I have a complaint. So in order to keep from having a negative image, I shall do the famous compliment sandwich.

1. Gosh that that back design with the accents is gonna look SIIIIIIIIIICk.

2. $36 for a twin pack? This is where we're headed huh? I get it though, new technology, high quality, ect.

3. GW has consistently put out amazing projects in 2015. Super excited for this deck.

What I like about this deck is that it has a classic look, but seems to have a high degree of functionality.

I brought  bunch of custom decks to a poker game once and they wouldnt stop complaining of how they couldnt tell the difference in the royalties. Due to them being so no-standard. Ever since then, My collection has placed more emphasis on nice back designs and how it will look at the card table.

tldr;

I want these cards.

Not to sound like a jerk, but I really feel this wont fund. The audience isnt broad enough. It's really got to appeal to more people these days if it's going to fund on KS.

This issue, posted by Magic Orthodoxy, got me to join this club. Bravo guys.

Also, Which KoC is that on the cover? I'm thinking LUXX?

The rework looks great!

I personally would like to see Gold Foil embossing on the Legends branding as a stretch goal.

Similar to the Bicycle Archangels deck if you wanna see what i mean.

Hi! If you are still taking orders, I would like one mixed pair.

Gracias.
