Feedback Needed: Scanning & stitching pics of decks

Hey guys,

I've always had a hard time getting a good pic of my collection that fits in one shot.

So, I scanned some of my decks on my scanner, and stitched some pics together.  This way I can get all my decks in one pic. 

One is of 60 decks stitched together (15 wide by 4 high), I made it my FB banner.

you have to wait 5-15 seconds for the full resolution to kick in.  Then you click anywhere on that pic to zoom in.


The second pic is just an example of the size I want (20 wide by 25 high= 500 decks)

To recap.. you NEED to click the links, and wait 5-15 seconds for full resolution.. then you can zoom in and move around the pic.

I want to know if I should continue down this path.. or just scrap it.

That's a great idea CBJ, although it does take a bit longer than 15 seconds for the pics to load.

Are they really?  well that sucks.

I couldn't load it here.. it was too big

Does anyone know of a free photo site I can load BIG pictures?
I have photobucket, but it automatically shrinks the pics

Well, those pics (I should say pic) look amazing. Who knew Bicycle released such a variety of unique decks? Oh yah, we did. The first picture looks great. However, the second picture doesn't really load on my old, crusty Windows Vista. : )

The second pic is MUCH bigger.. you just need to give it more time.

Anyway, I'm glad you like it!

So, I think this "stitching" is the way to go for me

I have tried loading the second pic and after 10 minutes here is what I see:
I have a relatively new computer and my browser had no trouble loading the first pic...

LOL oh well then it does load in 5-15 seconds. However if it were filled with other pics it would probably take longer to load.

Good thing I signed up for UC not so long ago.

I can view the first link (photo) just fine. Although it did take some time for the resolution to kick in but it looks like  a great image. So are you trying to really get 200++ decks into one photograph?

I laughed when I saw the Philippine deck in your collection
Is it really one of the very few deck of cards that is actually Patriotic (except for the american decks of course) but you know in other countries thats Bicycle made?...

Looks good.  You did leave a blank space in the bottom right, though - was that intentional?
