I decided to make a separate thread for some messages about my blog. I hope people don’t mind. I don’t want to draw people's attention away from upcoming USPCC decks so I think this section is better for this thread.

I didn’t want to fool my readers on April 1, 2013. But the day had to be funny and cheerful. So April 1, 2013 was the day of a circus on http://playingcardcollector.wordpress.com:

Small correction - the deck's name is "Sawdust", not "Stardust".

I guess I have to post some unplanned information in this thread. I understand that in accordance with general rules of forums this post (message) is more for LOLaq (or how it is named) thread. Also I understand that there are some negative words towards the owner of this forum. But I’ll really appreciate if this message will live at least a week here as an explanatory thing.

Why it’s good to have several forums about some kind of hobby. Because when one of them are owned by a boor and people as a result are outraged by him, messages are edited or deleted on his forum to help him – you can explain some things to people and friends on other site.

I had to have some conversation with the boor – new owner of -U- -C- on his forum. A designer (Lotrek) asked a question about necessity of Bicycle logo on a tuck case of playing cards. These are targeted posts of the conversation (five pictures in this post and three in the next one).

And this is my message which I guess was found very uncomfortable by management of -U- -C- and was deleted by them:

EDIT: The bold was so people could see my post was edited and so I wouldn't have to double post. Not for some other reason that you are implying.

We both know that that part of your message was a purposeful outrange not because of bold type.

I made several active comments on new UC yesterday. And I have to ask myself if I want to take part in new UC today...

You have to do whatever is best for you. Either way, I am sure everyone will understand. Clearly you do not understand my posts. You think, and wrongly by the way I might add, that the issue with Alex is because he runs another forum. If you actually read and understood my posts as you say you do, you would understand my problem with Alex is that he is a liar, a con-artist and a thief who tried to rip me off for $600 worth of cards. There are still people who have not received their vortex decks and a year has come and gone since he had them in his possession. And the reason is_______________ (Fill in with any of the number of lies Alex has thrown out there). But I guess you drink the Kool Aid over there like some of the other people who blindly follow him no matter what. I actually don't expect you to understand what I am saying, just like you didn't understand when you copied my blog posts and tired to imply they were your own.

Thanks!

I haven’t been commenting on new UC for some time...”

Collector, I think you need to do a little more research on the whole Aether/UC problems.  I could spend hours writing about all the stuff that has happened.. but I won't.

Aether has recent threads that are negative about UC.. and remain up.  I don't think you'll find a thread dedicated to negativity for Aether.

Alex(aether) and I are trying to put things behind us, and move on... but he still hasn't reinstated my PM powers over at Aether.

1. I don’t think “…that the issue with Alex is because he runs another forum…”. I even can’t imagine where in my appropriate message I said something which can make someone to think so.

This is for @CBJ as well. I don’t need to do any research. As I already said I read messages on forums and I know quite a lot about your issues with @Alex. And I don’t justify many of his actions. But it can’t be the reason to become similar and make aggressive messages about the whole forum – that was one of my statements. And I know that I expressed it clearly. And the reason was to emphasize lack of respect on new UC in connection with appropriate message of Mike. So, @Mike, try to read and hear people… and learn to respect them.

@CBJ, try to strain your memory and remember my attitude to this forum and people on it. It will help a lot with closed-world assumptions. I understand that @Mike is in some kind your employer now but really… don’t distress me and don’t ruin my endless respect to you.

2.But I guess you drink the Kool Aid over there like some of the other people who blindly follow him no matter what.”

I had at least to be his backer on Kickstarter to do that. And I wasn’t. That is why I never tried to express my opinion about those issues.

3.  “…just like you didn't understand when you copied my blog posts and tired to imply they were your own.”

I didn’t tire to imply they were my own.

a) I posted text and I posted pictures from USPCC. Pictures are from USPCC and you don’t have any right to forbid their usage. But you tried to do that. I can contact a legal department of the USPCC and ask about their qualification of your actions. As concerns the text, I though that it was an official promo from USPCC. In the end of that whole post which covered several other decks not mentioned by you I thanked all sources of my information with appropriate links to them (including you).

Yes, it was a mistake with text. I can believe that it was your text not a promo from USPCC. But I didn’t commit any crime. I made a reference to you. You didn’t agree with the style of that reference. It wasn’t a problem. You could do as a courteous person – you could contact me and say that you don’t agree with that kind of reference. Did you do that? No!

I have 6 posts like that on my blog and NO ONE has stated any indignation about that kind of reference… except you.

b) Don posted a lot of links to that my post on Discourse. I didn’t post that links on Discourse as I did with some links to other of my posts. And I explained why I didn’t do that. Also I didn’t know that Don posted that links. When I found those links on Discourse with reference to me I corrected Don in the first thread I opened and I stated that Mike was a real source of information. Autocorrection on that forum isn't my whim and I didn't know about it.

c) Finally I found out that the texts weren’t promos form USPCC and @Mike didn’t like my reference. SoI made classic quotations in that post and they are still in it.

And I explained my point of view to @Mike. But I really doubt he even bothered to read it.

d) But what did actually @Mike do? He: i) didn’t connect me privately through PM, DM, blog with his complaint; ii) made comments in aggressive and disrespectful manner; iii) made those comments in the thread which didn’t have nothing common with his information; iv) removed two of his messages from the thread - so I have to thing that they were full of outrages.

I know that it was made intentionally – his PR in potentially active and interesting thread (and I know that that deck was much more interesting for readers than Mike’s information - on the basis of statistic on my blog) + attempt to sully my name in the eyes of Deco Playing Cards (I had active communications with them at that time).

So what should I understand? I guess I have to understand that Mike can’t hear and respect other people and their opinions, needs an endless drama to justify his boorishness. Maybe we should end with that, @Mike? Don’t you think so?

Quote from: CBJ
...Anyway, to leave because on occasion someone says something aimed at Aether... well I guess you'll be leaving both forums.. because they do the same thing.

CBJ

…to leave because new owner and admin of UC makes everything to prove me that he is a boor.

I’ll leave Discourse in the same situation without any problems.

This is my last post about all those issues as I don’t see any sense to go on with that – I doubt @Mike will even want to hear and to understand. I’ll leave this forum with any his next outrage.

Quote from: CBJ
I think there are some great designs that don't have the Bicycle name... arcane, artifice, rebels, artisan, seasons.

But.. being a Bicycle fan.. I'm also more willing to buy Bikes!

And.. I wish the Ornates would have kept the "Bicycle" branding...
CBJ

We all know that usage of Bicycle logo will have some additional restrictions in design so I can use my imagination for all non-Bicycle decks mentioned by me. And I think Sentinels can be also nice with Bicycle. But this logo will spoil design of Bohemia, Seasons, Tendril, Mana.

And of course, @Mike, this is my subjective opinion and I am sure this should be understandable for all mature people. I don’t see any sense to start every message with “IMHO”. I do that only when I comment some young people or new designers (because I don’t know his age).

----------------------------------------------
p.s. @Lotrek, I am really sorry for this conversation with @Mike in this thread.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I copied messages from -U- -C- and posted my message as they are. Of course messages on -U- -C- can be easily touched up. I won’t be surprised. It’s up to you to believe or not to believe. I don’t try to convince you of something – I try to explain something.

This message isn’t about “Who is bad and who is worse”, “War between forums”, etc.
This message is about “Why”- Why you shouldn’t try to communicate with me on -U- -C- or look for my opinions on that forum. -U- -C- WAS a nice forum. I’ve been advertising it as “one of the best forums” permanently on a separate page on all of my blogs during the whole period of life of those blogs and in personal communications with people… Till this day. My personal “Good luck” to CBJ.

There were a lot of kind thanks for me on this forum and on the other one because of my blog, interesting information from me, etc. So if that thanks really worth something and you respect me you’ll fulfill two my appeals:
1. Let this message live here at least a week;
2. Do not comment here or in other threads, on other forums, blogs, etc. about this situation and new face of -U- -C-. Do not start wars, squabbles and other things like that. It is not worth it. Just take this as appropriate information.

Thank you.

p.s. And one little fact – I joined -U- -C- in 2011 not in 2012. I can only suspect why I became younger.

You don't have to do workarounds for UC anymore, I uncensored them a while ago.

I'll save you some time here. Mike throws around tons of accusations and BS, and he is guilty of all of them. I got crap for "censoring" this forum despite the only censoring being in regards to UC and BMP. Users that do not harass and contribute to the forums do not get banned. Hence CBJ is not banned, but Mike is.

Let me put it this way, if he has accused you of stealing from his blog, then just assume he steals shit from others to put on his blog, and is projecting that onto you. As per copyright law, unless the photos were taken by him (with proof), he has no claim to them.

Also, from what you posted, CBJ claims there are negative threads about UC here. I dare anyone to find one. It's mostly positive stuff, some negative posts, but nothing even NEAR the level of what is on UC:

http://unitedcardists.com/search.php?keywords=aether

http://unitedcardists.com/search.php?keywords=aethercards

http://unitedcardists.com/search.php?keywords=discourse

Now, I don't really give a shit about this drama anymore, but it irks me that they keep claiming we harass them, when we haven't even mentioned a single negative thing about UC in god knows how long, and on top of that we barely even said anything bad before.

tl;dr: Ignore them and move on. They'll continue to censor their forum and talk crap about us while claiming people do that to them. It sucks because when UC shut down, some folks came here, and they seemed like really nice people.
