They're too basic and don't add much. I like Sci-Fi, but if you make a Sci-Fi deck, you need to go all in.

On the topic of Sci-Fi and space themed decks, can you think of any good ones?

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Collect for Fun? Or Profit?

If you are collecting cards for a profit, you're doing it wrong. You should do it because you want to, because unless you have some very old decks, there isn't really much of a profit to get.
I collect because I'm a hobbyist magician, and I realized how much art can go into a deck of cards.

I don't believe I've heard of the Bomber PCC. Does anyone know the quality of their products?

Introduce Yourself / Re: How did you find PlayingCardForum?

I just searched for, "playing card collectors forum" on Google, to see if there were any groups of collectors. This site was the first to come up, and I'm glad it did.

Thanks, that's interesting.

They really do remind me of Studs, and they seem pretty good. I'm going to have to get a deck next time I go on a card buying spree.

Is thin crush stock new to the USPCC?

Legends produce high-quality playing cards, and I've heard that they're really good with the designers. All the decks I've gotten from LPCC are amazing, and they last longer than my USPCC decks. There's also the Expert Playing Card Co. I've heard mostly good things about their cards, but I've never used any of their decks before, so I don't know. I'm planning on printing with the LPCC and Lawrence when/if I design my first deck.

Hey Bucky! Welcome to the forum.

I'm new to all this too, and only have a few decks in my collection.

Heyo! I'm X.

I'm a magician and card collector from Arizona. Playing cards are very interesting to me, as so much detail goes into such a small form, and I recently had an idea to create my own cards, so I'd like to learn all about them.
