LUXX palme is definitely very soft and smooth. Not sure if it has anything to do with the finish or happens on other elite decks, but on the LUXX, the embossing is somewhat uneven. There are grid lines in boxes about 4 dimples wide. Other finishes have the usual dimples. The Cultura deck says it has elite finish. I have not opened my deck but the tuck back and front also display this grid texture. I would be concerned with the uneven look, especially on a deck with such fine art.

Project page looks great. Will you be adding other tiers (4, 6, 12 decks)? Early birds at the 4 or 6 level would be much appreciated.

Looking forward to this project. It took me many games of koi koi to get comfortable with the standard cards so I see this project as a great tool to learn the cards and games.

For the new design, I would vote for #1. The cartouche is very prominent.

These are nice reviews, thanks for contributing!

Can't wait to see more!

Thank you Lee, this is a good resolution. Things like this make the club something special.

I appreciate that it's a very nice, limited deck but to not even address the issue of the pips is disrespectful to the club members who bought the deck (some in multiples).

What a great meetup today. A nice chance meet local collectors and enthusiasts. Pleasure to meet a local artist, Brendan Hong (Hive, Dynasty).

The sponsors were very generous - USPCC, Dan & Dave, Alex Chin, Paul Carpenter, Robert Tomlinson, Jody Eklund, Murphy's, CPC, Ellusionist, Theory11, Gamblers and Kardify.

Thanks to Lee and CBJ for organizing the event and the free stuff.

For Richard Turner Gold Seal Bicycles, check out penguinmagic.com. Shipping may hurt from any US-based business but they have the best deal on these. Plus you get a great video of your order being packed.

Ouch. Now that you've shown the color one, there's no going back. Much prefer the color back. For the fronts, I almost prefer no color.

That was extremely annoying. Was watching it all day then got sidetracked. Will have to wait for the general release or just pass.

A number of the 12 are Russian and claiming a conspiracy. It's tough to lose a silver edition, a pair of limiteds don't quite measure up but I don't think there's any real good solution. Maybe a substitute on a future project.

I was joking. I like the big lion face on the tuck. Hopefully they don't sell out immediately.

But it's just a re-color and tuck-swap. :)

As of now: Only 160 individual decks left.  Only 41 bricks left.

I so wanted a brick, but I'm cutting back on card spending.  So I settled for 4 decks.

You're stronger than I am. I feel like I'm about to cave and pick up more, haha. I was all fine and good until those Edgerly Bros sent out that KS update reminder of their relauch! Now here I am again, looking at that Penguin holding bricks of HONEYBEE's in its... flippers?

Bought 4 decks as well. Don't want to derail this topic but really curious from your comments Fes. How do you use your cards and how long would a brick last you?

He really could use a business partner and the ability to take advice. Designs are decent and could become good decks with patience and refinement. Serial failures on Kickstarter though have sunk this ship.

Thanks guys, I realized how blind I was. I'm in software so I'm usually looking for the tiny nasty bug rather than the thing that is staring me in the face.

You must have eagle eyes, I can't see a tuck with printed by. So the page now says this. Though Im not sure this confirms or denies anything. Round up the forensic scientists.

If I'm reading it right, they are being printed by EPCC.

If you bring back the little dash that goes in the middle of an E then it might be worth it.

...also the compass needles have one-way scratches. Very nice deck on closer inspection. The deco-like font on the card numbers is very cool.

I noticed the hemispheres right off when I opened my pack. The etchings on the borders and the rivet/panel patterns are also one way. But with poor registration, almost any USPC deck I've seen recently is one way.

Very nice. A little sad that the blue deck didn't make it.
