WOW 2, face down version is a good one.  But it's a gimmick.

Have you checked out Crash Course 2 over at Ellusionist?

Practice like crazy, using decks you don't mind ruining if you have accidents.

Centerpoint is not an easy trick - I have the video and attempted it a few times, still don't have it down yet.

Ambitious Card is a pretty impressive trick to start with - why does it need a bells-and-whistles finish?

Y'know what, you could try as a finisher to "put a Joker/stranger card" in the spectator's hand and use the Erdnase exchange bit to "switch" that card for the ambitious card.  Could be a fun, suprising closer.

I've also seen a similar routine to Ambitious performed by Magick Balay where at the end of the trick he puts the card in the spectator's hand and reveals that the entire rest of the deck was blank cards.  Don't know if it was a force or a deck switch.  It's probably on YouTube somewhere.  That trick had me laughing my ass off - elegant, funny and jaw-dropping all at once.

youtube it. basically its a signed card, you fold it up. They bite on it. You sign a different card and do the same thing. Magically the switch. Its a great ender.

maybe not, but I like him. He taught me a lot. My ambitious card routine uses a lot of the stuff he teaches, but I think i will go with the finisher  Don suggested above.

I like "French Kiss" a lot, but I don't see how it would pertain to an Ambitious Card routine itself. I'm sure you can do it AFTER the routine is over, however.

I always end my ACR with "Card to Mouth." It's so easy to do and it always gets great reactions.

During my ACR I have the card jump from one place to another. So at the end I try to make it so there is no way for it to change places, yet it does.

That's a neat idea.

In my opinion, ACR revolves around a card always jumping to the top, not necessarily changing places with another one. That's what transposition effects are for.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking your idea. Just giving my two cents.

totally understand. But what I do is after its come to the top a couple times I do a top change say how you really have to watch him, they look at the card the assume is theirs and then I show its on top of the deck. I once did this and had their card face up on the deck (not on purpose) it blew their mind when they looked over. But because of how people like that I go into french kiss. Making it even harder. And people love it.

WH french kiss is the best possible ending routine for ACR, you just need to make sure additional card where to place it..

I've usually closed with stigmata. I inform the spectators that thus far I've done all the work, and they've taken away the card as a souvenir. However, I like too like to take something away from the performance, so I hand them the deck and ask them to be the 'magician' by getting them to place the card back in, shuffle, etc. And away we go  :bosswalk: I've had some great reactions from it.

Stigma, tattoo effect correct? That sounds like a great ending, personally I like to use a little as I can when I perform and an extra card that is signed is small enough I am ok using it.

Yeah Stigmata by Wayne Houchin. The first time I tried it in response to a spectator asking, "if I controlled the deck and held it, could you still make the card appear?" Immediately I thought of stigmata and did just what I needed to do. The response... confusion, and then shock and awe as '8S' was engraved into my skin. I will usually do this ending if the group is large, and I make sure a lot of people shuffle the deck so I have enough prep time.
