Almost a wrap. Just a week left, and this Kickstarter will be put to bed. Only $4 away from $5K. Check out the write-up on Kardify for some fun facts.

The First Achievement Unlocked

Proud to say, Club Pitch v2 has officially met it’s first stretch goal. A premium, matte-black paper tuck with green metallic foil stamped graphics. It’s 2.1, or more commonly referred to as Blackjack. Here’s a quick peak. More info surfacing on Kickstarter tomorrow.

Adding a thin line of green around the edge where you currently have a field of black would remove this issue, making all the cards appear identical from the edge.

This is something that I really considered adjusting, but I wasn't sure if it would be a big issue. You are right though; it is way tighter if all the front edges match.

On a side note. Does anybody have strong feelings toward a small hit of metallic foil on the back of playing cards? I've already had one concern for my final stretch goal. I assumed the surface area of green metallic foil would be too small to affect performance. But, I also wouldn't mind changing from foil to a metallic ink as I would have a better chance matching the pantone color.

That’s a really good suggestion. Thank you. I’ll look into that.

Club Pitch playing cards has officially been (re)launched on Kickstarter. Second times a charm, right? Club Pitch V2 is a unique envisioning of traditional cards with a modern design flair. Originally meant to be a promotional item, the design vocabulary is derived from the brand identity of a small ad agency in Los Angeles, Pitch. It has matured and evolved into more of a statement on how much could you deviate and still keep it classic.

Please take a little time and check them out on Kickstarter. Would love to hear your feedback whether positive or negative. It's my first project (if you don't count my original attempt a few months back) and I am proud of how the project manifested and progressed

stay up,

Hey everyone, anyone

It's Duane C from sunny, CA. Well at least thats where I've resided for the past decade. I'm a card enthusiast with a small budding collection. I appreciate card magic, but I am obsessed with cardistry (hence the name). Definitely still a novice, but its mainly a therapeutic exercise that keeps me from going nuts at work. I've researched card stock/finishes on this forum many times in the past and it finally clicked that I should be an active member. Also interested in designing cards. The first being a custom deck on Kickstarter in conjunction with the company I work for, Pitch. Always down for a card design discussion so holla at me;)

Thanks for having me!

Really looking forward to seeing where this project goes in the future. The theme is savage and attention to detail is stellar.
