Good evening (or morning)

I am in the market for a new card mat, although I am not really up to par with a great brand of durable yet useful mats for close up magic.

Any suggestions?

THANK YOU!

There's not much need for suggestions, really - any basic felt close-up pad with a rubber base will do the job and last a good while.  Pick a size and color you like and go to town with it!

If you want to also expand your Bicycle Rider Back collection, try this:

Nine different colors of Rider Backs with two mats, one red and one black.  Not a bad deal.  The colors are from the DiFatta series as well as USPC standard issue.

Here it's more expensive but ships free of charge.

This close-up mat may be helpful. I have that same one, but twice the size. It is still in great condition!

There are many serviceable mats available for cards.

One who has a great selection and service is Pattrick's Magic. (yes - with two t's) They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and two different textures. Custom mats are also available. Great quality.

That is an awesome reference for me to have for this! Thank you for pointing me in that direction.
