When was The Discourse started?

I was just wondering when the discourse website was started up, I joined on October 10, 2011 and it was pretty new, but I was wondering when it was started.

We launched mid/late October officially. We had beta testing for a while too. The site was put up on the web September 30th, 2011.

Sweet I just wanted to see how close to the start I joined I remember the first time I came on the site(I think I saw it on your youtube channel) There was 1 page of threads in the Plethora and it was pretty quiet aroung, I didnt start posting much until a mounth or so later.

i didnt even think of that honestly. i use the latest post at the top layout for the threads; which is probably why i never noticed that.
