Love the filigree and accents, suits etc. but don't really like the court illustrations. Great deck overall howerver and I am sure you won't have any trouble funding. Good luck!!

Have you considered adding some color to your tuck?

Yes. Color (Limited) edition will be avaliable as a stretch goal.

Ouch. Now that you've shown the color one, there's no going back. Much prefer the color back. For the fronts, I almost prefer no color.

Then I guess you'll just have to push the project into the stretch goal area, won't you?  :))

I'm working with Egor to help make this project a reality.  He's providing the art, I'm lining up the printer and launching the Kickstarter for him.  We're looking at a launch before month's end, pending getting quotes from Expert (which we're waiting on right now).  The Robusto stock with this artwork is going to be an awesome combination.

The tucks will be nice as well.  We have stretch goals for foil stamping and for a custom deck seal - it will look like a wax seal and the tuck box flap will be OUTSIDE of the box, giving it a real old-fashioned look.  It's still a standard tuck box, though, so you can tuck the flap just fine after you've opened the box.  We're using the nice synthetic paper Expert used for the Chameleons deck - seriously, that's one of my favorite tuck papers out there, practically indestructible, just like the Robusto stock, like a match made in Heaven.

I'm glad the responses are positive in general - it's making me really look forward to the launch!  The project will be very simple - decks and uncuts, maybe a dealer coin to match, but that's pretty much it.  It's easier to manage that way and not as expensive to produce.  We'll be using a fulfillment service, probably either Gambler's Warehouse or the new service from the Guistolises over at CollectablePlayingCards.com, though there's a chance we'll be shipping direct from the Expert factory - we have to see which option is most viable and affordable.

Have you considered swapping the Limited Edition and Standard Editions?  As in start with the colored and make the other one a stretch goal.

I think colored edition must be more rare and limited.

I was just being selfish, didn't like the possibility of the color edition not being funded, and was hoping to see it funded first.  Good luck with the campaign.  I hope both editions fund!

EgorKlyuchnjk - I like your BackOfCard and Jokers.  So, it's a non-traditional theme.  I see some of the Queens have flowers, but not all of the Queens have flowers...

I want to make some similar to renaissance portraits.
Yes, I decided to draw a queen of clubs without flower.

I'm glad you like that!  It was an idea I gave him - it uses a standard tuck box shape, but instead of tucking the flap inside the box, it's left outside the box with the sticker acting like "ye olde style" wax seals of the Renaissance period to keep the box closed before purchase.  After it's been opened, the flap tucks in like any standard tuck box flap.  Something similar was done with the Heretic deck - it used a long, exterior flap with a sticker seal, but the flap was designed to fit in a slot under a smaller flap, remaining outside the box at all times, because it was too long to be tucked in.

Heaps clever - and it really does look striking! Especially the red on white- literally jumps out at you :) After raving about the seal, I should say the detail in artwork is lovely too!

Hello guys!
A quick update before launching our project:
We decide to rename this deck to Medieval - playing cards. Because "Renaissance playing cards" alredy exists and it was lauched on kickstarter a few years ago.

Do not worry about this, we changed only name of the deck. Everything else remains the same.
And don't forget - launch tomorrow (26th July) at 3pm UTC/ 11am EDT/ 8am PDT on Kickstarter.com.

Cheers!
