I am talking to them now. I was able to pay to have prioritized printing before That's why I received other decks in a couple weeks. I do not see this being a thousand deck plus deck order. This is going to be a small package. Small goal one run. Something I can easily manage. With keeping my backers informed I will for see no problems. I my be new to cards but not managing projects with 100,000.00 dollars. Age 27 I was able to pay for my own brain surgery because of insurance problems. I have had customer wait almost 6 months for farrier Italy to send keys for a  limited Edition Stradale challenge. Things happen if there is a delay hey remove the problem keep it pushing. I am an optimist a very positive person I radiate this and in a room my presence is felt. With any venture I look at all the data I have. Not much out there. You half to kick the door in be felt get answers. Battle spades was a kick. There is no such thing as bad publicity. I was in got tips and reproduced. Came back got answers now I am back again with a almost funded project before it hit the board. I am a winner because I do not give up I am not starving to the point that I cant simply spend the say max 1500 dollars for an order Instead of waiting 16 days. That's business I get the money back. I am prepared to solve a problem is what I am saying. I ramble sorry very passionate person. Stop looking at it as how much money will be seen. I let that go mostly you see I Alexander Liss am really close to having my art on over a 100 decks. People Like them...... my art and thats awesome!!!! It feeds a fire in me to come even harder next time. This small kickstarter helps me get my feet wet on the financial side of kickstarter. Wish I had the opportunity to go to work shops like you  but I am sure you will share what you learn and I will be waiting..lol. So if this works smoothly I will be able to take that data and my next project will be even better. I have not paid for one piece of advertising no backer kit. I just have long hrs talking, posting, showing... My friends and family have barely kicked in so we will see. I cant wait to share what happens step by step so other people can see a 5000 dollar kickstarter for cards is not always the best choice and there is a workable option.

"to cause significant delays on products coming to the US from China unless" For any business owner that is a crises.

That is a good question. I based the shipping time on the amount of decks I will be ordering. I am only shooting for 150 decks. I get decks made from them and I usually get them in two weeks. This I will be paying about 50-80 dollars more to have it moved up. I will be taking it from what ever profit I make not much when decks with tuck is over 6 dollars with out shipping. I got about 70 decks sold now. So I guess we will see. If I really break out of my little model I will pay the extra money to have MPC fulfillment service do the busy work, Extra dollar but worth it seeing How with bigger crazy numbers are not always that good of a thing for the backer.

I also have every thing ready to go. They have all the art but I learned this time to make and keep all masters so if I tweak something like the ten and nine of diamonds it can be done in minutes. It is still really earily and I have not been "FUNDED" so I am open to every one at the moment.

I am happy and humbled because I know allot of decks that where amazing did not make it the past couple weeks.

Ill will have some new images of the revise I have done. Hope you guys will like it. Thanks Al I ended up making vectors of art and you where correct.. I really do graphic design from scratch not a drawing so that help.  I redid all the face cards. Also made indices bigger and removing the extra icon in the middle of all suit cards leaving them just on aces. Thanks Don for the help and please stay tuned.

Thanks Will and Justin I am actually working on a larger project with a story line and moving comic animation. It will be REVOLVE, EMERGE and THE CHILDREN.  The mermaid is one of the children. So in that deck it will have allot of cards like that. REVOLVE is just apart of the mechanical world I am dreaming about. I guess that's the easiest way to say how the big picture makes me feel. The  Valkyrie in the clip was based on this painting I have done called "VS".

Thanks Alvihy.. You and Don are correct I am doing some changes. I will wait a little longer so more input can pop in. By this time tomorrow we will see the changes. Just sent clip in to be approved by bicycle so I have time. Alvinhy you have a really nice deck. I have done several coin designs for this deck but I do not think I will add it to the kickstarter due to ignorance on coin making. I have gotten quotes but with no render to show what the coin will look like. They want large deposit for just the render. Plus who knows how there shipping and real process works until you have done this. Could you suggest a place? If so that would also be great.

That's not it at all. I went through this before. With Battle Spades and I did not give up and spent the last two months creating this Kickstarter. I listen to advice and if you look at my last project you can see the different  approach but I see allot of cool decks that are out there With allot of background noise and big pipes, dices and so on. I simply would like some one to see my deck and say that's Lex's art style or card style. What is two big? or whats to confusing?  After the last hard criticism I have gotten from this forum almost made me give up.. Here I am again showing what I am producing. Bicycle has already approved the deck. I really can only make small tweaks and can not change allot. I have many different version of the this deck. I picked this one with a panel of other artist with in the visual communication field and decided this was a nice balance with out being a black deck or white deck that are currently around. By no means am I trying to make the perfect playing card. I am just an artist that thinks this is an awesome medium for my art. I am the Brand the cards are the product. I really think this deck is a cool deck with its ups and downs just like any other deck of cards. Don my speak for this forum and that's great Don knows allot about cards That is true The fact he commented on my cards is wonderful. So with that said I am open to small tweaks check out the Battle Spades thread and I tried to redesign the deck in real time on forum and took a OK thing and ruined it. Please check out my facebook and learn a little about me and the cards I am creating the art I create and the way I see stuff. All in all I like this forum and its the only one I post to. Once again thanks for the comments I am open to suggestion. Two months in whats a couple more little changes right?...lol  Attached is one of my paintings so maybe this can help with why my cards are Like they are..

I was waiting for you... Well this is it.. Sorry you do not like.  Thanks for your comments. I am figuring out if I would like to add a stretch goal or not. I created a different versions with little tweaks but this Is a deck I liked out off all them abd fits the direction my art is moving in now.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/609584552/1473526128?token=c570c77d    This is a quick preview of animation and mock-up of cards. Art work 100% complete and approval from bicycles legal department to use there branding. I am going to keep it simple and not create a stretch goals. I figure the simpler the ordering the faster I can get product to backers. I created animation, music and all art. Thanks for looking and please wish me luck.

Those do look great.  I think I picked the colors because when I think of magic I think rich velvets and stuff.. What is that deck called...?

19
I still have time..lol I am determined to do this right. Here is a tuck box design.

20
You know if I created my deck the way you wanted and made my goal that would be great for you.. People pay me to do their vision... This is something created and put on kickstarter... My first and if it does not reach its goal that's fine... It's my time money and energy my art. It's simply art. I have had allot of views, cancellation, advice so I feel like my time has been spent well. My kick starter is slow but I am still here changing stuff around and updating backers creating new art for the tuck. I am sure if I paid you for your skills you would give me direct line of direction. Do not get me wrong the free advice you have given to me well be re-read over and over again... So thanks.

That is the great thing about anime any thing goes. Machines being powered by souls or dolls created for battle lets not forget black-hole high school hero that time travels every time he is kissed.. I really do not see any rules. Some of the cards are scaled do to art. I just started creating drawings so scaled may ruin the art. Next time I will keep this in mind. The only Indices that are scaled different are the kings. Thanks once again for your input.

22
New designs.

23
Ok I am working on tuck box.. I tried posting pics early this morning but my files where to big... I Have changed the card back and evened out the indices. I also remade the indices and spaced them a little further from the edge. Indices Are all correct color and easier to understand. Once again I would like to thank you guys for your input. I made a deck of cards you guys help me make it better.

24
Files to big sorry for the post.

Wow... Thanks for all the help.. sorry I am not perfect. :(
