Hi everybody.

My name is Rui, I'm from Portugal and I am an enthusiastic collector of decks of cards. In my country, decks of cards are not known for collection purposes, so I was very happy to find this page, where I can read about decks and where I can speak and people understand what I am saying, because we all just love those little boxes with more than 52 pieces of paper inside.

P.S. If there are more portuguese members, please write!

Rui, welcome to the forums.  You'll find this place to be a wealth of information as well as friendly people.  I've heard that it can be difficult and expensive in some parts of Europe to get cards, particularly anything made by USPC.  Check out the coupon codes topic in the Sales, Trades & ISO board (which I moderate).  One of the members here operates out of France and sells cards, with some discount for the people on the board!

   I want to thank everybody who sent me greetings.
   For professional reasons I didn't had time to come to this forum and see all your nice messages, wich I really liked.
   I now hope to have time to be more active in the forum.
   I'm also working on trying to show to portuguese and other europeans what a fascinating world the playing cards are, with facebook pages.
