Hey guys,

I'm a student, 14, and I've recently started my collection in cards.
There are many things that have gotten me interested in cards,
and in particular, the designs of the cards.

I'm starting out small in my collection of cards, getting maybe 2 of
each new "Designer Decks" and maybe more if it really catches  my
eye like the Mana Playing Cards and Seasons Playing Cards.

Well, I guess Playing Cards have really changed my life as to get
the decks I want, I made sacrifices like saving my lunch money and
selling away some of my stuff but getting the decks makes me really
contented even if it means starving for a day.

That's more or less about myself
I'll hope to get to know you guys better 8 D

-KT

Hey KT. Welcome to the family. If you love cards as much as you say you do, then you will absolutely love it here.

I too have had to make sacrifices. For example while I SHOULD save up my money to buy new shoes (the sole is half way off), I instead add to my collection.

Since you're new to the hobby, I'm wondering:
•What's your favorite deck that you own?
•What's your favorite card company?
•Are you a magician of flourisher?
•What's your dream deck to own?

Thanks for joining, and I hope to see you become a regular here on the forums :)

Hey KT! I am myself a high school student as well, and I do all I can to save up to buy some new decks. I often have small jobs after school, during the weekends, and during vacations, that help me get some money. Good luck and welcome to the forums!

Welcome to the Discourse!
It's always good to see new members coming into the field. Pace yourself and don't look to expand your collection too quick, it'll be too much of a burden.

Welcome to the Discourse, KT.  You'll find we're mostly a friendly bunch and we don't (usually) bite...  :))

Which country are you in?  We get a pretty international mix around here.  There's a lot of Americans, but also a fair number of Asians from different countries, Aussies, Canadians and Brits, a Middle Easterner here and there and the occasional European mainlander.

  • Card for me maybe?
Welcome to the forums KT! I'm just a letter away  :P (Okay I admit that was lame..) anyway yeah, lots of nice topic here that'll help you know more about playing cards and also if you're getting into magic too. I think I have a clone now cos basically I started out the same way as you, I started collecting because of the awesome designs print on the decks! On top of that I'm from Singapore too  :) Oh and when buying new decks don't be too hasty, take your time in getting the 'best' (Subjective) deals, don't make the same mistake as me and make bad deals.. oh and feel free to ask around, lots of friendly people around here. Now back to lurking the forums...  8)
Stalking the forums, I'm in that corner!
