Those medallions do look really good. I think we have the wrong people making our currency! Imagine coins that looked this sharp?

I recognize pretty much most if not all of them. The only two I know of that are not related to a Kickstarter deck project would be the Artifact coins made by Ellusionist.

I can't identify the one with the stylized skull on the back, and I recognize the "Dealer" coin from KS but can't recall which deck.

Yeah most of these coins are related to decks.

Don, the skull coin is from www.hydro74.com
The same guy that did the altruism decks for the blue crown.
You guys should check out the rest of his work...simply awesome!

I knew the art was familiar, but couldn't identify whether it was linked to a deck or not. I remember when images from his site were first posted - everyone was assuming that they'd be the cards appearing in the Altruism deck and were pretty disappointed when they didn't. But even a novice would agree that the licensing would have been practically impossible because of the licenses needed to publish the images which were based on movies and other copyrighted works.

So i recently came back from overseas over the Chinese New Year period and got a couple of decks from a shop selling old stuff. I don't the the value of these but got them since the were affordable. Not in the best of conditions, but at least all the cards are there.

Anyone knows anything about them? Or just some regular decks, but old?

EDIT: Apologies for it being a little orange-y. My room light is warm white.

A combination of heavy schoolwork and a busted camera's prevented me from posting. Now that those 2 problems are over, here's some things I've picked up in the meantime.

Since I last posted y collection, it's grown significantly. I like to keep it in brick boxes so I can access them easily. The box at the top is a Petron Tequila case that I use to store casino decks, and decks that have been heavily used.

Also, MAJOR props to Jackson Robinson, Fanofyankees13, and Lee Asher! They all made fantastic trades, and Jackson even sent me some decks as a gift!

WOW! Very nice MrMollusk, very nice indeed. What do you think of the Melies decks? Being a little bit of a movie buff the deck is kind of calling me, lol.

I was actually disappointed with the Melies deck. The back, box, Jokers, and AoS are beautiful, but the rest is standard. In some of the updates, the creator hinted at redesigned cards, and even said they would be recolored, but I guess he went back on his word and just used the standard faces.

Still a great deck for magic, and the theme is awesome, of course!

so there is a new version of the Virtuoso's I have not seen the orange one only the original release.

It was a long overdue kickstarter project. The last two photos were actually thrown in by Cobey and Michael of Homerun Games as a good will gesture for getting my initial order wrong and making me wait. I'm liking it lol

Lucky you. I am STILL waiting. Just dropped Cobey an email and hope he can at least give me an update.

I had to contact him a good few times before he responded , but he will deliver eventually, it's just a long wait unfortunately. Hope you get yours soon.
