They're illustrated by a Ukrainian man, Vladislav Erko. To simply say that they are some of the most beautifully illustrated cards is putting it mildly. Jackson mentioned them in one of his postings and I was absolutely taken away by them. Even though they're loose cards I will be figuring some way to frame & display them.

Finally posting where I am since acquiring this strange disease last summer.
The R.Crumb boxes at the bottom right aren't playing cards, but they are cards - and done quite straight for R. I'm including them for nostalgic purposes.
I did not include my box of Jane Austen tarot cards (!)
And looking at it, apologies to Jackson for putting his fine deck next to the anonymous rubber banded deck from China my husband found at the bottom of a junk drawer.

A quick Google search for "Vladislav Erko" will turn up many examples of his work.

These are some of my new decks. Hopefully the picture shows up. I have a brick of ohio fan backs, an ohio steamboat, some rider backs with an international playing card company blue seal, and a couple UV-500 decks, blue masters and a black tiger deck, among others.

I had my doubts about the clip when I first saw it online, but two Thursdays ago I saw one down at CARC and was pretty amazed - strong but very light. If I had fewer clips, I'd pounce on that immediately.

I was unimpressed when I first saw the clips but figured I'd take a gamble on them. Now I'm a fan. Love that gloss finish, and the carbon fiber is strong and light like you mentioned!

The cards inside are all from different deck designs and are meant to highlight the features your deck could have, if the price is right. If you poke around on the website, there's a page in there somewhere that allows you to request one, delivered, free of charge.

I just went looking myself. Couldn't find it. It's possible that with all these collectors not ordering custom runs that they've opted to stop making/sending the deck.

When I looked around, I did find this (out-of-date) catalog that they may be using as a poor-man's replacement:
