The Elusive Cupid Test Deck...

Thanks to a very honorable collector that frequents the posts, I have been able to secure another long sought after set of cards... The Bicycle Cupid Test Decks... Apparently the USPCC was considering changing the standard Bicycle box to the following design, but they apparently did not go through with the changes, making this an extremely rare find...  Just a note: I am considering letting go of the Jumbo Face Cupid Test Decks (both Red & Blue) if anyone is interested... PM me...

So. Basically these are the Cupid Back Test decks, are very rare.

Before we get all confused here, the decks are standard rider backs. I'm not sure what these are called but the design of the box has a cupid riding a bicycle and that probably led some to think it is the cupid back deck.

Simply put, standard rider back cards in test box with cupid design.

Actually, I'd heard that it was under consideration to bring the Cupid Back into the regular rotation again as a "standard" deck, an alternative to the Rider Back for consumers.  I couldn't tell you what's in the boxes, but it doesn't matter, since whether it's filled with Cupid Backs or Rider Backs, this was STILL a test concept that was never brought to retail in the end, making it the rare deck that it is.  In essence, it's a prototype that was scrubbed before reaching production.

It could be filled with Cracker Jacks; wouldn't matter, still a rare prototype...
