Title: Do YOU want to be a Moderator?
Post by: Don Boyer on June 11, 2014, 11:37:54 AM
It is with great sadness that we recently accepted John's resignation as moderator of the Deck Reviews board, citing personal issues.  You will be missed, John.

We have openings in the following boards for moderators:

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
DECK REVIEWS!

As well as positions available for our Ambassador program, which you can learn more about here (http://www.playingcardforum.com/feedback-support/introducing-our-ambassador-program/).

For Design/Dev, we're looking for a professional designer, someone who has produced at least two decks.  We'll need links to the promotional materials online or "crowdfunding" project page.

For Deck Reviews!, we're looking for an enthusiastic collector who has posted at least five deck reviews somewhere on the Internet, in any format - video, text, audio, Talking ViewMaster discs, wax cylinders, cave paintings, etc.  Be prepared to produce links to the reviews.

For Ambassadors, we're looking for outgoing people who are interested in spread the word about the Discourse to all the little corners of the Internet, especially to "card people" - deck designers, retailers, collectors, performers, even poker players!

Experience as a moderator is not required, but an in-depth knowledge of the position in question is.  Send me via PM a resume and a paragraph indicating why you should get the job.  Let us know what time zone you're in for the purposes of coordinating board activities or holding meetings online.
