Two very different decks facing off here.

Both have vintage backs, but that where similarities end.

Gold Seal NFBs.  Air cushion finish.  Bicycle stock.  Historic Ace of Spades.  Available in black and inverse black (white).  Excellent gaffs, including the "zero of hearts", usable in romantic tricks well-suited for girlfriends and Valentine's Day.  A stunning and beautiful update to a classic design.

Erdnase 216s.  A wholly unique finish and stock designed by William Kalush himself.  Back design, believed to be over 100 years old, possibly the model from which the M.D. Smith drawings in "The Expert at the Card Table" were derived.  Reproduction faces typical of pre-WWI deck design.

May the best deck win.

Try looking here.  Or perhaps here.  You'll find a nice bundle for it here.  This deal, this deal and this deal are all sold out, but he often restocks them with special pricing once or twice a year.  But if you want to know more, try asking this guy - it's his deck, after all...  :))

You did see the contest this deck was in to be a part of this tournament, right?

But, if all else fails, you could try going here...it's where everyone else goes, right?

Glad you enjoyed that!  The black version can be had for a reasonable price despite being only a 5,000-deck print run.  The white deck, on the other hand, is much more expensive normally - with only 1,000 made, it's among the rarest decks USPC ever made in recent history.  But Zenneth Kok will occasionally run specials where the two decks get bundled with a t-shirt or magic trick for fire-sale prices on his site - it's worth keeping your eyes open for them.  He'll often announce those specials here himself, since he's a member and occasional contributor.

Thank you, Don, for this tips and for advice! It helps me to find my right path...when you are young and foolish you buy all that shiny stuff which sometimes it doesn't matter or is worthless, just to have it. Of course, if you are not a collector, but even in that case I am sure will be helpful to learn and to know all stuff that you have.

I was rather surprised by this one, but it's the Bee Erdnase 216s taking the win.

Head back to the board's topic list for the next four fights!
