Say, Alex - could we trouble you to list the known ranks in the Discourse? I can't remember them all and I think it'd be cool to see a list of the ones achieved so far and how many posts you need to make to achieve them.

PS: I'm just a handful of posts behind you now! Fourth place will soon be mine! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

I believed I started a thread about this a while back. I have a few ranks up, then it just got confusing. I used the "All Members" page to find out what ranks people were and how many posts they had. The ranking system can get quite confusing when you think about it.

Did you ask Alex to show you all the ranks and the numbers needed to reach them, or did you simply look over the member list and try sussing it out on your own?

On my own, I got as far as the first few rankings, then I just stopped because my brain hurt.

Yeah it would be cool to see a list of the ones achieved so far! That could be a cool addition to the Discourse v2. Have a list in your forum profile with list and as you post you unlock more on the list. It wouldn't be anything new but it would be cool to see in your profile. Just a thought

It's not a religious thing to me, but Discourse Deity does have a better flow to it. I would think that the deity rank would be somewhere higher in the food chain, though... I mean, we are talking about DEITIES here! Extraordinaire sounds like a dapper gentleman at a cocktail party who can ballroom-dance.

Not bad, Aaron. Definitely a few inaccuracies but not bad at all.

As for the change from GOD to Deity, it has nothing to do with religion, and more to do with genders. Discourse Royalty was originally Discourse King, but not long thereafter I realized it wouldn't evoke the same "I'm powerful" message with the female members as it would with the males here. Since I couldn't at the time come up with a unisex term for God, I decided it was one of those words that are close enough to ambiguous that I could use it.

Since then, Deity has made its way to the forefront of my brain, and that is far more fitting.

Ya I think I might be off by a bit between Royalty and GOD and probably on the ones no one has reached. And that Diety sounds really cool.

That list isn't 100% accurate so that's probably why! You can help make it better though with that information

I didnt even notice when I beca,e an elite member from forum regular :'( It must have been aroung 195 or so because I was waiting for 200 then I was like why didnt it change but then I looked here and ya. Did you mess with it alex?
