Out of curiosity, what is the Charles Goodall deck that inspired your designs here?

Anything you can share about the significance of the name of this deck?

Thanks for the comments and questions everyone. I have decided to change the card back as the first one was just not up to par with the theme. The court cards are from a deck that seems to be rare and it was printed by Charles Goodall around 1898-1900. I don't know what the name of the deck is It could be a Bezique Deck unfortunately I could not find any pictures of the tuck box. I chose the name Phonograph 5 because I love the look of phonographs and I felt it fit the time period. I have some pictures of the original courts below along with my new card back and the tuck box. I was hoping to do two decks with color swaps. The second deck would be a stretch goal. I want to try 2 colors of foil on the tuck box, gold yellow and Green on the first deck. Gold yellow and Purple on the second deck. I don't know if I should stay with the diamond finish or if I should try the Elite finish for this deck. And I was thinking of using the same material as the chameleons by Asi Wind. Your thoughts are much appreciated. Thanks Landry

Is that the same tuck material as the Legends Rock n Roll deck?

Yes I believe the tuck is the same material it is a Rainbow Holographic paper.

Here is an official image of the tuck proof I posted an update on KS a while back and now the cards are being printed. Thanks Don for the advice you gave me hope we can talk again when things calm down I am working on a new deck and I will make a post in the forum soon.

The Rainbow Illusion deck is a four color suit deck but it still has two suit colors white for the hearts and diamonds, black for the clubs and spades. Thanks Don the intended goal is to print both decks but I have been noticing that even some really nice decks are struggling to reach a large goal on KS and I was hoping that if I got one done I could always do the other later. I need to raise $5800.00 to print just the Standard Deck. I don't think I will have any higher early birds at this moment does not sound logical at this point. I was thinking about doing a 2 deck wood card display I just need to work on a sample and see how it looks, More on that later.

Don't Know how this looks or if It will work or not. What do you think?

This is what I have in mind for the Standard deck. Not sure about the courts yet I think the one with the color behind it makes the court less visible not my favorite. Thank you for your Input.

Hello everyone I know I have not been around lately, I have been real busy. I know using make playing cards was not what I wanted to do but this deck just was not that popular. And I knew it would be hard to reach a higher goal. But it did manage to get funded and I am in the process of fulfillment as we speak. Putting this deck behind me I do have some other decks that will be much better and LPCC is going to be my printer of choice. Thanks for all the input given here at the Playing card forum see you down the road.

The second box is the limited edition playing cards and will have 2 metallic colors. The box is going to have a UV coating that will give the Pantone inks a shiny look.

I really think the zenith deck looks cool and wanted to do something similar.
