« on: August 14, 2012, 08:39:37 PM »I had 2 Verves in my cart but kept having difficulties and errors while checking out. I made it so far as the "place order" right at the very end and then got another error and by the time I tried again they were sold out! Oh well fortunately I got a couple during the prerelease. I wasn't going to go for the Gold Crown either but by the time I finished my cart had over $60 already so I figured what is another $20!
That happened to me as well with the Verve decks, had 2 in my cart right up till checkout. Oh well, I got 6 of each ORNATE decks, 2 Vaudevilles and 1 of each crown decks. Also a Gold Crown

I was about to put an order in, untill I looked at the shipping cost. The cheapest shipping price to Canada was $39.00

In case your wondering what he did he gave all the youth in the magic championship tickets to his show but took them back since the guy in charge of IMX would not publicly say that he has the best show in vegas.
Wow that brings douche- baggery to a hole new level.
I can believe he sold alot of his first decks as they where included in his Mindfreak magic starter kit and he did sell a lot of those. I picked up one deck at a local magic shop, just out of curiousity and it was horrible. The deck I picked up was a svengali deck, not sure if he made any other type. With this new deck, the back design looks not bad, but if everything else is standard then I'll take a big PASS on them.

I ordered this deck and love the animation of the back of the cards, but if you look at the post by CBJ with the back card animation, you will see that mechanically those gears wouldn't work.
What turns the center gear? the main gears are going in opposite directions to make the outer chain move.
Still really like the deck ,but I thought that was interesting in a mechanical way of things.

I pledged for this deck on the first kickstarter. I'm not sure if your Steampunk tier will be as appealing with the animated Mechanic deck coming out. Show us more card designs ( AoS, other suites ). Tell us what stock and finish you plan on using and give us a look at your Tuck box design. When your fully finished deck is complete, show us the out come. Then I would go for the relaunch.Good luck!

I like what you've done in the corners Sean, If you look at the center design long enough, you can see the Celtic cross. I would still like to see the cross design pop more, maybe use the same colour as the center design all the way along the cross design ( if that makes sense ). Also thin out the white boarders so there not as bold. Keep up the great work.
