Greetings all. My name is Kash and I have to thank the Vortex Kickstarter project for introducing me to the world of playing cards collecting.
 
I have always been a collector of stuff (toys, CCG, basketball cards, street arts) as well as an overgrown gamer (boardgames, tabletop wargames, PS3) and I was actually looking for boardgame KS projects to back when I stumbled upon the Vortex KS project. The info written there pipped my curiousity ("what the heck is a gaff?", "one-way back, huh?", "secret reveal? What's a secret reveal???") since as a casual poker player, a poker deck is just a simple poker deck.
 
Thanks to all the discussions on this forum, as well as all the very useful info found on 52cartes blog and the "Magic and Playing Card News, Info, and Sneak Peaks" facebook page, I am now a new playing card collecting addict 
  Alex should get a cut from E, T11, TBC and D&D for all the $$$ I have spent starting up my collection.
