One lucky seller. Chances why they go that high is because the it's being sold in a pair. I never seen the Blue GN before.

Closed at $921
I didn't win >:(

Where's Digipunk when you need him... He's very well versed in the Golden Nuggets and I even sent him a pair of the Blue / Yellow deck before... Albeit an open deck, there are other extremely rare Nuggets out there...

I have two of the black ones in perfect condition that I bought for $100 each a year and a half ago... when did these sky rocket in price? O_O
Though, it could have been very clever bid shilling guys, so keep an eye out on future GN auctions before deciding this is their new value. I believe a set of Jerry's goes for $600-800, so this is really weird.

Considering I picked up a new and sealed red one for around $75 not too long ago, I'd say that it could have either been shill bid but with some very silly buyers, or that the blue nugget is just almost unseen therefore providing a means for a higher price. Really weird though.

Just an update on that auction, that was no the Blue GN deck, that was the TEAL GN deck which is a newer deck and not one of the OLD VTG ones..
The BLUE GN deck is Tax STAMPED and it is EXTREMELY RARE and VALUABLE b/c it was used for the HIGH ROLLERS when the GN opened its doors in 1965 I believe it was...
The Blue GN is a light Blue, and is Tax Stamped.. That is the rarest GN out there...
The tEal is a nice color but it is not the blue GN and the tEal is more common than the Blue GN..
