I love photography. And as you can see, I don't have people pics because I'm really interested in wildlife.

I really like the Washington monument one.  The others are all top-notch, too; nice shootin', Tex.

Right now I don't have a website or a blog or anything but thank you for the link! Maybe I'll make one soon.

If you know what a DSLR is, I don't even have one. I'm using a camera that doesn't have interchangeable lenses so no, no vintage lenses.

No offense to anyone, but I would choose any Nikon over a Cannon... any day, despite their higher prices.

My dad is passionated by photography. He has every single Nikon camera and lense released since 2006, and he doesn't collect them. He uses them all.

Wow you're good! I am using a Canon SX10 IS  :)
In a couple weeks I will be getting a Canon T3i so I hope it's good. I've been really happy with the SX10 IS and I recommend it.

lol i didnt guess. Most pictures on the web have EXIF data that you can use to find the model of the camera.

I tell everyone getting there first dslr to buy a 50mm 1.8 lens. Its only $100 and it will be your favorite lens right away. Its a prime lens meaning it cant zoom in and out but shallow DOP will give you really nice images when focusing on a subject close to you and will blur out the background significanly. btw the t3i is awesome :D

I have a DSLR, mine is an Olympus E-500, same as my fathers.  surprisingly he got me a lense that is more expensive than the body itself!

lense is a HOYA 58mm UV Philippines. Olympus Digital, both very nice pieces of a camera

HOYA 58mm UV is not a lens ,its a filter.

The lens type i mean
It isn't a lens or lens type. Its a filter that goes on the lens.

...yes, and he'll edit the post - or better yet, simply make a new one now - as to just what lens that filter is attached to! Everybody, neutral corners!  :))

I've always been interested in photography - but also been interested in too many other things to pursue it seriously.  I was in a few different film schools, though, studying cinematography.

I've had no training at all. I wanted a camera really bad, so I got it as a birthday present and it just went off from there!

Seriously consider taking a class in artistic photography.  I don't think you'd regret it.

I'm with Nathan on camera preference.
I am a Nikkon Lady myself. Although Canons are purtty  and easy to use (at times)
But Nikon is great for artistic shots whereas  Canons are great for journalism and those-need-to-capture-this-moment-now  photography.

so @EVAN  have you started your jux? I'd love to follow you there.

I am studying photography as well and I think I have been improving a little. Getting the odds and ends of F-stops and blahblahblah really is a headache but I enjoy it.

What got you into photography?

Yes, thats the one I was trying to show. It was a link to a picture that I had posted on Facebook and I think my privacy settings were making it so that people who I wasn't friends with, couldn't see it, so I posted it through the Conjuring Creations Facebook page, making it so that everyone can view it.

I'm in Israel now and it is really a beautiful place! I am staying on a Moshav that my cousins live on. A Moshav is a type of Israeli town or settlement, in particular a type of cooperative agricultural community of individual farms. The mediterranean sea is a 5 minute walk from where I am staying which is awesome.

This photograph is of the sunset the night that I arrived.
