So with the free from AP video released, it had some info on what the Blue Crown summer sale and what it consisted of, beside discounts and being able to purchase things ahead of time, it mentioned exclusive decks, and showed this picture. Now it doesn't say if they are club only decks but the description makes it seem like it.

Guess were seeing some new NOCs soon!

Playing Card Plethora / Why does everyone hate on alex but not...
« on: September 16, 2012, 12:02:28 AM »
So i was having a conversation with a few people and this topic came up. Why does everyone hate alex for his shipping but no one even complains about lance. According to his last update he doesn't even have the freaking decks yet! And in my opinion that is 100x worse then late shipping. So please offer your opinion on the matter down bellow.

Deck Reviews! / [TXT][LONG]Grid Deck Review
« on: August 22, 2012, 06:09:51 PM »
Blah blah blah back story that no one reads. Now onto the cards.

Box: The boxes are what you would expect on any normal deck of cards. Standard box with no embossing, foiling, or matte finish. The front of the box features the Ace of Spades along with the Bicycle logo and and "The Grid Playing Cards" at the bottom. The top of the box is plain with just the word Poker on the top right. The bottom of the box has a barcode reveal saying "47N9 04 D13M0ND5", you standard USPC info, and a QR code which i assumes leads to their website http://4pmdesigns.webs.com/. On the left side on the box it says Air Cushion Finish and By 4PM Designs. On the right side of the box it states the manufacturer, the USPCC.

Cards: You have the standard 52 4 suit 13 per suit cards and 2 identical in design but different in color jokers. 1 is red while the other is blue. You also get a double backer and the X card which i assume is a gaff useful for something.

Print Run: 5000

Finish: The deck uses Air cushion finish which means they fan and spread well out of the box.

Stock: The deck feels like it uses Bicycle stock. When stacked against a deck of rider backs they are the same thickness.

Overall opinion and rating: When i took this deck out of the box it came out in exactly 2 chunks which i have to admit scared the **** out of me. As i broke the deck in more they began to fan better, these cards never had a "wow these are really nice" stage meaning they never really fanned well just okay, i believe i got a bum deck though so take that into consideration. The deck is extremely soft which was very disappointing. Being they are as of right now the most funded deck on kickstarter i hoped they would have used a higher quality stock. As of right now this deck is sitting in a porper trying to get out all the warps and bends in the deck if that is any consideration :P.

Should you buy and if so where: The deck is just okay, its nothing spectacular in terms of handling. If you're looking for a deck that has a great finish, handles amazing, and lasts forever this isn't the deck for you. Now if you're more into tron or collecting in general it's a cool looking deck and ill give it that.

I don't know if this deck will be for sale at the website mentioned above. It is listed as a product but you can't buy it yet. Ace-King and Bmpokerworld have them for sale on ebay.
