Here's a bit more on the Robert's Never Forgotten deck, details on when and where they will be available included. They did a beautiful job on this project.

:o  Why did I not go to the convention?  :-[  Oh yeah, work (which pays for this addiction) and family (which puts up with it) :-\

I really look forward to the releases of all these decks!  They all look amazing! :D

Everything posted looks very cool here. I'm sure most everyone knows I'm a sucker for Tally-Ho's and pretty much anything Expert does. I even like the look of that gaudy as all get out Liberty tuck haha. Lots of stuff on the "soon" front. Look at that Joker though!
I must have some...
HONEYBEE!

The convention this year was AWESOME - I loved all the decks that debuted, and of course getting to make so many new friends and reconnect with some old ones.  In a couple of cases, I got to finally have face-to-face meetings with people I've worked with via email for 3-5 years!  I am without a doubt going to be attending the convention every year that I possibly can.

Here's a little more info for everyone about the Honeybee and White Tally-Ho decks.  They will both be launching very soon.  You won't have to wait until 2016 for either of these.

The Honeybees are another great piece of work by Randy Butterfield with a custom back design, 2 gaff cards (No ad cards, hurray!), custom jokers, a custom Ace of Spades, a custom tuck, seal, and courts with custom texture and color. The cards are printed on Bee stock and have a traditional cut for all you table faro and gambling demonstration folks.

The White Tally-Ho are the classic Fan and Circle back designs, with inverted Black and White color schemes.  For maximum mix/match with classic Tally decks, we kept all faces fully traditional and unaltered.  Duplicate jokers, plus a Blank Facer and Double Backer.  Again, no ad cards.   And where these decks really shine is with the tuck.  We used a premium matte white tuck stock and did the design entirely in Black Foil.  There is no ink used on the Tally tucks.

Also, if you (or a friend of yours) has a solid following on Instagram and/or YouTube and you want a chance to get your hands on some decks early to review and show off, please PM me or email me kevin (at) penguinmagic.com to discuss.

This is exciting news! HONEYBEE's are traditional cut!!! I love that all three decks will have no ad cards. The new Tally-Ho's have a lot of extra's very exciting. I wonder if PenguinMagic will be bringing any of these new Tally-Ho decks along to the Live Magic Expo in Phoenix. Would be really cool to see the new backs in action.

We loved meeting you too, Kevin and seeing your presentation along with the other 5. This will be a yearly event at the convention and we are hoping to feature even more decks next year.

ALSO

There will be a new club deck introduced each year - at the moment the plan is to do this for 8 more years making a 10 year series by established modern designers.

Stay tuned!

I love it.  It's already been cancelled.  I'm sure by year 10 this will turn out to be a Friends or a Seinfeld.  Modern designers can go on forever.  Who is making the next deck?  Randy or Alex?

That's still in the works, but we're planning to choose a designer sooner rather than later.  There's a near-solid chance it will NOT be a designer of one of the two previous decks - they were great to volunteer their services to us as they did, but it's a process.  But other than that, the field is still open.

I guess asking who it is - and naming two prospects - might pry information from this source, if there was information to be pried!  ;)
We are still looking at a range of alternatives, including some members of the Club and expect to make a selection before Christmas so the design team has enough time to do their work, meet a reasonable production schedule, etc.

Original plan was to launch the White Tally in November.  Shortly before release, we found some production flaws affecting a significant percentage of the tuck boxes, so we held off on launch until we could address that with USPCC.

They're being re-worked as we speak, and we now expect to launch some time in January.  I'll post updates in the Tally thread as we get closer to nailing down a specific date.  :)
