I got a Wacom Bamboo Create ;D hmm and mostly just money besides that. I got myself 275$ worth of Ellusionist stuff earlier this month, and I'm gonna try to get some black crowns today along with a couple blues. I'll probably make a T11 order too, I wanna get Genesis, some Aristocrats and the new Steampunk deck for the collection. :)

Wow Loldude that is some awesome stuff!!

@Moon.exe how do yo like the Create? I have an older model and I love it but it's been through a lot and I'm looking at getting a newer model.

I got a few fitted dress shirts, some Oregon University Ducks Rose Bowl apparel, a Tottenham Hotpsurs FC hat, a new Timbuk2 messenger bag, and some miscellaneous funny decks of cards.

This one of the years I was way more excited to give presents to friends and family!

Timbuk2 bags are really good - I have a vertical messenger/computer bag from them.

I really didn't get a lot of "gift gifts".  I received a LOT of cash.  Most of that cash is residing in the bank and waiting to be used to pay debts, while some of it was used to finance a rather overly-large spending spree on playing cards and magic.  I'm not inclined to say how much, but it was a LOT.  I must have purchased a couple hundred decks and over two dozen magic DVDs, plus Pure Smoke, the Gecko & Gecko Extreme, Prediction Player, cards-themed caps and t-shirts, etc.

Please review Prediction Player. I want it so bad!

On a quick glance at what I got, it looks awesome.  It's a single card force trick, though - you're always forcing the same card every time you perform it, so you get limited "playback" out of it.  Plus you want to wash that t-shirt VERY carefully - if the silkscreen looks less pristine, the trick has less chance of succeeding.

Well the single force really disheartens me. I was hoping I could do it to the same people, multiple different times (on multiple occasions of course)

If you got really creative, you probably could - but you'd have to make some modifications to the shirt.  In addition, you need to purchase "refills" on part of what makes the trick work.  I'm told they're pretty cheap, and they aren't just single-use - they just wear out over time and use.  It comes with enough for dozens of performances, if I'm to believe the instructions.

I got a HD JVC camcorder...Some money and thats all, lol.

Given a choice between an HD camcorder and some cash or a slap in the face, I'll take the first option, please!

I have to wait 'til I'm home to hear this one - the PC at work has no speakers...  :(

Well, although we don't celebrate Christmas, Alex got me a beautiful coat that I am considering a present. Other than that, no presents for me this year except ones I've gotten myself.

I have to think of something to get Alex now though. But shhh, nobody tell him! :P

Solid haul. I also got a Blu Ray player from my gf for my birthday (in 2 days).

It seems as if gift cards are the main sources for gifts these season. I heard on the news that companies make millions from unused gift cards. I too received two gift cards and I plan to use them later on. Anways, Happy Early Birthday! I hope you have a glorious week!

Ah! The iPhone 4s is awesome!! A friend has one and I love playing with it. Siri is pretty sweet and only has a few flaws! Also I'm sure they'll just keep updating it.

Also Happy Early Birthday!

Nice.  I'm hoping to have the scratch to ditch my AT&T iPhone 3GS and get a 4S from Sprint.  I liked Sprint when I was their customer and had a series of Treos with them.  (First person to ask what a Treo is gets buggy-whipped!)

It seems as if gift cards are the main sources for gifts these season. I heard on the news that companies make millions from unused gift cards. I too received two gift cards and I plan to use them later on. Anways, Happy Early Birthday! I hope you have a glorious week!

That USED to be the case, when companies were permitted to put restrictive terms on how they get used and expire.  The government placed some restrictions on this, since they function in some ways like credit cards and in some ways like currency.  Now the bulk of the money they make on unused cards in in the interest earned on the "float" from the cards.  (It's a fancy way of saying the cash value of the card is in essence an interest-free loan from the customer who bought it for an unspecified period of time.)

so i got 2 decks infinities and 2 magic books, one for showmanship and the other some guys complete course to magic ( cant remember his name) learning some nice tricks to do with things i know, also i got a small camera, once i get it up and running look forward to some vids :) also a necklace with the 4 aces on it. and a bunch of pointless things those were the best.

You're probably thinking of the "Tarbell Complete Course to Magic" - the full course is in seven or eight volumes.  If you got the whole thing, that's a hell of a gift; you have someone to thank big-time for that.

Just what were the "pointless things"?
