Yeah that would be dope to have!! It's like the Bicycle Irregular deck X D&D V5 haha. It's not worth more than 30ish bucks though (like Loldude said). Pretty sweet find!!

Misprints add value to stamps, I know that but playing cards?  I wouldn't have thought it'd add much value.

This deck is worth $30 without a misprint...

I don't think its worth $300 but its very rare. Its not something thats really sought after though.

I think that, since the v5 is worth about 20-25$, the misprint should be worth about 2 or 3 times more, about 75$ max. However, I'm not sure that many collectors would be willing to pay that much for a misprint!

I also just thought that it isn't "one of a kind" like stated, due to the fact that probably the printer, or the sheet of boxes were misaligned, so most likely there are at least a few dozen more. Not saying that it detracts much value, but common sense would tell me that there are more then one deck like this.

Ohhhh, lucky. And what would it take to get my hands on it  ;)

Anyway this proves a theory that I had that probably every deck has some misprinted like this, since no machine is perfect.

This reminds me of how I collect coins, and the more messed up and the bigger the error, the more valuable it's worth.

This is a weird thing but I would not pay $300 for it. Maybe it is worth about $60(double regular ones).
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

Are they?  I think this guy's just chancing his arm a bit.  I guess if this sells for silly money, you could throw it up there with a crazy high buy it now price (like, say $300?) and when it goes for $120, some idiot thinks they got a bargain one-of-a-kind deck.

If your paying $300 for a deck, does $8 really make that much of a difference to someone?
I doubt it. Even still though, if I were him, I'd pay for shipping, for the sheer fact that I want to make the customer happy.

Hey, guys - I've got one BIG question about this "misprint": didn't the V5 cellophane come with a tear strip?  This one doesn't have one.

Misprinted coins - valuable
Misprinted stamps - valuable
Misprinted playing cards - valueless.  Especially if it's the cards that are misprinted.

If I bought my deck like this, I would have requested a replacement.

The missing tear strip makes me wonder just how genuine a misprint this really is.  Printing misaligned from the embossing was pretty common for the S&M deck boxes, but this?

Don, the cards are not misprinted. It's just the tuck case.

USPCC Kentucky decks do not have colored tear strips unless it's asked for. The strips are incredibly thin and usually impossible to see. This is authentic, rare, and a cool collector's item no doubt. Worth $300? Heck no, but $30? Sure.

I would agree that the misprint does add value simply because it is something that some people will desire for their collection. It's fun to have something kind of unique and not something that every card collector can possess in their collection. Hence why the ~1920 bee deck I own is my favorite just because it is so hard to find, even though it is not my favorite looking deck and can guarantee other decks I own handle better.

For me, I would be happy to have the misprint.
But I won't pay for it. It's like if it's came to me by luck then I'm lucky.
But I'm not trying to buy that luck.
And surely I wouldn't sell it.

I knew it wasn't the cards.  I ws just saying that as an example - bad box is one thing, bad cards is another, but neither is really worth any giant premium over market.  If anything, I personally would value them lower.

I'm talking with Blue Crown in the morning about a defective v1 Red deck I got in a trade here - one of the sixes is seriously off-center to the point of ridiculous.  I'm also asking for more details about their 1st-anniversary shindig at Fantasma - they invited me to stop by and I have no idea what the hours are or what kind of event it is.

A mistake is (usually) not common.  But it's just that to me, a mistake.

Auction is up to $40 now. Reserve is still not met (is the seller crazy?)

Now I wonder how much my Jaqk deck would go for.

How high is his reserve? I would have thought it would be a bit higher than the price of normal v5s, but apparently I'm wrong...
