Legends, hands down.  Massa had nowhere near the features, a less attractive back and I heard flourishers really loved them for about five minutes - great handling out of the box, but they wore out too fast.  I've heard of card retailers actually using Massas as packing material to protect more expensive decks when shipping!

This is going to be a one sided battle, Legends without a doubt. Legends are durable and are a nice change of pace from the "standard" USPCC decks. Massa on the other hand, don't really look that great (IMO) and wear out really fast.

Legends, not even close.

Question-Who actually printed these?
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

There's mention of some obscure company on the box and cards, if I recall, but they're not out of USPC.  It's probably a Chinese firm.  I'd have to peek at mine to be sure - it's been a while.

The CARC website says its a factory in Taipei(I googled, but appears could be more than 1 factory there). When looking at a picture of the tuck, I noticed the second crease on the lid that allows it to be fully opened. I thought this was an exclusive design of USPCC. Is that not the case, or is this a rip off from the Taipei company?

BTW- I ordered the 216s. Should have them in a few days. Would have ordered the Legends, but obviously sold out on CARC.

I've searched as well - there's a boatload of card factories/printers in Taipei.  But yes, Taipei, or at the least on the island of Taiwan.

I seriously doubt that USPC owns a patent on their box design.  But if they did, it would have expired by now.  Patent law is only good for 20 years at best, and not just in the US but in most of the world.  I personally have been using this type of box for over 35 years!

I think you'll enjoy the 216s.  Legends are still out there at reasonable prices if you look for them.
