Found these on eBay! They look and sound pretty cool, but are they really worth that much money?!

This seller also has a lot more rare and unusual decks too, all way out of my price range though.

Damn... I just think the seller is banking on those that will buy at such prices. I mean I'm sure there are people that will but still.... That's quite a lot of money.

Do you know much about them? Is there something special about them? It'd be quite easy to fall for the temptation of a brick of sealed, rare, post-war cards!

I heard about ellusionist having to rewrap their black ghost v1s because the cellophane had disintegrated. If the decks were original, would it be possible, or even feasible, to get them rewrapped with the tear strips?

I'm just thinking out loud. Probably not worth much.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

The decks are probably legit - the collection that this guy has for sale is some pretty incredible stuff.

If you do the math, it's roughly $65-70 a pack.  It's not an outrageous price, but it is on the high side, and it's probably the reason he had to mark them down.  If the deck was unusual in some way or a rare design it would be different, but it's the most common Bee deck design made.  If you ask JMRock, he's likely to have a much better answer, but I think it's a little high.  I bought a pack of Bicycle New Fan Backs from the same era that cost me about $15-20 less.
