Signature issues.. uc.com

My signature has www.unitedcardists.com

But for some reason Aether abbreviates it to www.uc.com


And it doesn't take it to the right site

What's going on?  Other people's company link function properly

not sure why it does that to the new URL, in hindsight I should have checked that lol

I was testing some SEO for the old one and seeing google search reacts to linking a few weeks ago.

I'll look into making the new URL being correct (old site is dead anyway, so I'm gonna keep that, FOR SCIENCE!)


On a somewhat related note, there are a few other sites that do that as well, mostly dead ones that let me mess with SEO

Search Engine Optimization?  It's a 'word' replacement.

I tried to change my signature a week ago and it kept changing "unitedcardists" to "uc". It made links impossible, which is why my sig is a goo.gl link now.

I tried to change my signature a week ago and it kept changing "UC" to "uc". It made links impossible, which is why my sig is a goo.gl link now.

In short it's to see how google reacts to certain links and search terms. The filtration was meant for the old UC and I believe I put it in before I knew about the new one. I forgot it was even  there lol.

The old filter will be staying up, I'll make sure it doesn't affect the new site link next time I'm in the Admin CP. Word up homie
