Golden Nugget Cards Question

Apparently these cards have some awesome finish on it that feels different to cards today? Does anyone know more about the GN cards?

Yes! The old Golden Nugget cards have USPCC's old air-cushion finish. It makes them feel wildly different from modern decks.

Golden Nuggets are far from the only cards to have this odd feel. Blue Ribbons, Vintage New Fan Backs, and more or less any deck before the 70s will feel that way.

They're quite rare. Do a weekly search (or more) on eBay for anything related to Golden Nugget decks. They are worth $40-100 a deck depending on the color last I checked.
