That it could be!

I think that we will see more QR codes used in decks and whatnot. Whether it be on the bottom of the box or on a card. The QR code as blown up in advertising and is spreading into other areas. I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see it a little more in decks/other magic products.

The more smartphones that end up in people's hands, the more QR codes you're going to see.  Interesting fact: they're designed with redundant information storage - a code can be significantly damaged and still be readable.

Yeah I actually did know that. I've also noticed it used a lot more in graffiti, which is very interesting. It's probably the biggest change in the latest history of graffiti. We've seen tagging, murals, slaps, and now QR codes. I've been studying graffiti art and have many books and movies on the subject and this is one that isn't covered in detail... yet.

QR codes in graffiti? Now that's interesting! I'll be sure to research that a bit. ;)

@Phantom, I don't think the Tungstene deck has anything to do with it. Tungstene used it as a design element, while in this case it's simply used the way it was intended to, and is only one of countless other examples.

I'm actually quite interested to see what it will lead to.

I know this is off topic but allow me to add one more comment... haha

@Moon yeah check it out online. One of my favorite artists (space invader) has been known to use it, especially since it fits so well with his style. There isn't A TON of information on it but there is a good amount. Enough to get one started. I've seen more and more of the codes in the tags and stuff around my city. It's awesome stuff.

The Fulton decks were quite a disappointment, and this dragon deck is only special because it was CNY and the year of the dragon. I do not see how this series will be able to survive.

I think this Fulton's series will be a little weird, because the red one will be more rare than the black one, and who knows about the next one? Maybe it could be another big limited print run deck.

Personally, I like the Clip Joint more than the Chinatown deck.
I really love the pips and the theme of the deck.

Yeah I agree that it is strange that it is uniform in the number of decks. I think this "series" is a little different though because it isn't like the Smoke and Mirrors series where you had the same deck in different colors. This is more of a story per say.

Color changes only held true for the last three S&M decks.  The first three sets were black and white with design variances.

I like the idea of a series that's more like what Karnival developed into, meaning that the decks aren't nearly identical from one model to the next.

If the Clip Joints had the Chinatown  back, but slightly tweaked, I would buy it in a heartbeat. To me, I love the faces of the Clip Joints, but the lack of color isn't doing it for me.

Yeah, I agree about the colour. But, I guess that's what they were going for, right? A black and white silent movie sort of deck?

Why they just lead us to the page that we already know?
That's kinda let down.

Sorry, I didn't. I saw the url and I thought it was the same as what the page we bought it from.
Thanks for telling me. I would have missed this.

Shoots, I was planning to buy an uncut sheet. I was saving up money hoping they would still be some left over, I guess you never know what will sell out and what will not.
