who jack the prices of decks?

(1/1)

I was just wondering? Who jack the prices of decks on the market? Is it the people who buy(reseller) or the market(supply and demand)? Leave you opinion below!

John B.:
supply and demand. as supply goes down, while demand is high price goes up.

I had started a thread about this here: http://aethercards.com/discourse/index.php?topic=77.0

As magic said, there is a lot to do with supply and demand. But as Alex had posted in my original topic, A lot of the blame for higher deck costs is with the original distributor ( D&D, T11...ect. ). With people running businesses on ebay and from personal websites, they are allowed to purchase large amounts of stock, therefore lowering the stock that is sold to the public at the original retail price.

Also, as I stated in my original post on the thread I linked, If people are willing to spend larger amounts of money on sold out decks, then there is no reason for resellers to lower their prices... everyone would like to make as much money as they possibly can.

I think it is basically judged by the bidding on the ebay.
