"look closer"

There's coffee brewing in the background.

Apart from that shocking piece of information, there is a noticeable difference in the shade of colour between the desk and the card backs. It could just be down to the lighting. Whether this means we can expect another colour to be in our collections soon, we can only speculate and wait. But on Daniel Madison's other releases, there's only been two colours. Why make the same deck in another colour, when more money is to be made in releasing a brand new deck in two colours again?!

<<<------------ Impulse card collector.

Uh, ya, it's still a no  ;)

Your wallet thanks you.  :D

Your sense of taste, fun, style and sight will probably also thank you.

The only place I can see these being useful is if you have a herb garden or a forest in your backyard. And for those situations, there are things called books.

I can't beleive how much these are going for on eBay! I know they're no longer available and fully customised decks, but its still a bit gobsmacking! Glad I picked mine up for regular price though. They're awesome!

Why have tea, when you can have shitloads of coffee and feel like you're doing things a lot faster.

I drank iced tea once. Unsweetened. Tasted like someone had stirred my water with a dirty finger.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Framing uncut sheets
« on: August 30, 2013, 08:59:21 AM »
Thanks for all your input guys! I really like the idea of framing the uncuts with the deck underneath! Think I might be able to get away with an A2 frame to do that, which are pretty easy to get hold of! Only problem is, one of the uncuts is a red arcane and I can't put the deck underneath  :-[

Playing Card Plethora / Framing uncut sheets
« on: August 27, 2013, 07:09:45 PM »
Hi guys. I've got 3 pretty rare uncut sheets that I'd really like to frame. The problem lies in the dimensions of an uncut. They're irregular. I can't just get a standard A3 frame because its too small, and A2 is way too big. Is there a particular size that's readily available? Or do you have to get custom made frames? Is there a particular store you go to (preferably in the uk) that is the place to go for uncut frames? Any help you guys can provide will be muchly appreciated.

That's strange. I got the exact same with no cellophane and the different seal, but mine are the red v6 version. Not complaining, as I've never owned a v6, but I'm wandering why mine are different.

What in the world is in the spade of that queen?

Kind of reminds me of an ape from planet of the apes. Which totally fits in with the theme of the deck....

I thought it was awesome! And in straight sets as well! He definitely deserved it! That final point for the championship lasted forever!

I also loved the fact that I put money on him winning, and ended up with a nice £15 profit!

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Fantasy themed decks

If you search for playing cards on kickstarter, there'll be a huge amount of results. Many of them will be funded already and unavailable, but some are still active. Take a look through them and see what you like. If they're already funded, it might be worth keeping an eye on the creators to see if they have any upcoming projects, and you may also find them on eBay. Themed fantasy decks are really popular right now, so you shouldn't struggle to find something you like.

I ordered mine on release day, and I think they arrived at the shipito warehouse on Saturday. I don't know for sure that its these cards because I didn't want them to open the package. Can't imagine what else it could be though as I don't order that many bricks. If it is them though, I'd imagine most US orders will be receiving theirs this week too if aloys sent them all at the same time.

Sorry Quad I was aking the other guy.  I still didn't revisit your thread yet.

No worries! Just let me know of you're interested. The deck is also on eBay for a higher price which I may reduce soon, and so can't guarantee that I'll have it for that much longer

20
What are you looking for in a trade?

Which one of us were you asking?

For me, and dare I say both of us, it would rely on what you have to offer.

Design & Development / Re: Photoshop your best friend and worst enemy
« on: June 29, 2013, 05:30:04 AM »
From the title, I was kinda hoping this was gonna be a thread where we show off our photoshopping skills by creating pictures of our best friends and worst enemies that have been somehow put together to create some sort of best-enemy-worst-friend hybrid.

But that's because I've never used photoshop before. I've got zero artistic talent both on and off a computer!

22
I have a blue v1 artifice for sale on my thread if you're interested. I may also be up for a trade if the offers right.

Are the green dealers a limited run? I was just wandering if Daniel Madison has followed suit from the release of his players.
