Hi-Just wondering if any folks from this forum will be at Magi-Fest. Could be a good place to connect about card-related stuff.

thanks,

Herb

I never heard of it - but we do have a topic for convention announcements.  You should drop by and post the details.  It's in the Plethora, but only because that board gets the most traffic and most magic conventions end up involving playing cards in some fashion.

Looks impressive!  Wish I could go, though - it's a little on the short notice side of things.  For now, I'm scraping the pennies together for the 52+J convention in Charleston in October (it is October, right?).

This convention is 80+ years old. I've been a handful of times, and even headlined back when Jep Hostetler (http://www.jephostetler.com) was running the show.

While I won't be there, I know there's going to be a large contingency of Toronto guys (including the  Sorcerers Safari staff  (http://www.sorcererssafari.ca)) are coming down for it. It should be a good time.

Enjoy yourself...

It was a great convention, and definitely has something for playing card enthusiasts. I attend regularly, and would be happy to help or inform anyone who may be interested in attending next year. Cheers!
