Title: right or left handed magicians?
Post by: John B. on October 15, 2011, 12:29:03 AM
So i have noticed when i do tricks i hold the deck like i am right handed, sometimes left handed. with flourishes i can not do them as a right handed person should (and i am right handed) i have to do them reverse, is this at all normal? how do you do it?

Different hands, different grips for different things.

Well, I'm right handed, but I learned from a left-handed magician. I just do whatever feels comfortable and works for me.

It doesn't matter whether you are left hand of right hand. It matters that which hand you practice with.
If you practice with left hand, you can't do it with your right hand, even if you are right handed.
